1:18 scale WW II vehicle wish list

Post by warbike » Fri Sep 05, 2008 6:21 pm

I like 1:18 scale aircraft, but would like to see the toy companies (21st century toys, BBI, Dragon, etc....) make these vehicles. I of course have a lot of ideas but will keep the list short.

We of course are familar with the 21st Century toys WW II German halftrack, I would like to see these variants of that halftrack:

Other halftracks on my wish I would like to see in 1:18 scale:

Other vehicles I would like to see, hopefully soon. :D

Ok I'm getting carried away so I will end the list there as it can be endless :D As you can tell I like 1:18 and I would like to see it continue.

I wish someone makes a t-34, I hope bbi or fov makes one plus some russian figures.
The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

i don't hold out much hope for either bbi or fov to be honest. I can't see bbi doing it, since they've made one, wwii tank period and if they're going to make another it ain't gonna be a t-34. FOV would seem a more obvious hope, but as long as the bravo team line remains a target exclusive i can't see them including a russian tank in the line. Still there may be some hope that fov's 1/18 line will branch out beyond target..

I know exactly the way to market it if someone does want to make one. You sell it with both a /76 and /85 turret in the box. That way people sort of get two tanks for the price of one, greatly increasing its appeal to the buyer that's uncertain whether to get it or not. The ones, like us that really want it will buy just as many anyway to have several of each variant. Overall, increased sales. They could do the same thing with a kv-1; sell it with both a kv-1 turret and kv-2 turret in the same box.

Even if somebody like Power Team could make a very basic, but accurate to scale t-34, that would be fine.

Maybe our elite group of handy dandy customizers can give us a t-34?

I would like to see some big trucks (6x6) with towed artillery. How about some fuel trucks to service the planes.
