I was chatting with Isaiah Jones, (co-proprietor of the Military Toyshop) the other day, and he said that if even twenty or thirty people made a committment (say by charging part of the price of a model in advance through Military Toyshop) to buy every new piece Skyworks Toys brings out, Jack Plonka could hire an assistant to speed up production and drop the price per unit by quite a bit. Jack and Isaiah have quite a few interesting pieces on the drawing boards, awaiting only our interest and enthusiasm ( I can say no more, but they are awesome Warbirds). So come on Ladies, pony up! Read my last post about creative financing! Or sell a kidney! C'mon, you've got two! Want to live forever?- or have some really cool XD hanging from the ceiling of your den. The choice is yours, guys-put up or shut up!

need some specifics before i can commit to anything but i like the direction this is going....
also, i'm not quite sure why all the secrecy. I don't think anybody's going to scoop them on an idea and i think secrecy has hurt this hobby over the last few years.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

Yep! Armor! I can commit to vehicles and troops!
I don't collect aircraft,

although they have been accumulating.

I'm the guy that got his first fastback mustang on eBay last winter. My review is already posted. I'd have to wait to actually see what I'm buying.

I will talk to Jack tommorrow after a little yard work and roof work. Ok maybe on Sat or Sun. If there are a lot of guys that are trully interested I can get a few more facts.
There are a few armor things in the works and I need to talk to the Woofer on this . I actually like armor a little more than aircraft . The Hun (Woofer) was working on some consigment pieces and should have them almost wrapped up by now and he may be ready to get back on other things. But I have lost a week so my input could be limited for this joint effort. Hey armor guys do not fret you have not benn forgotten

I purchased some of Jacks aircraft, Me-163 & Fw-190A.
They are unique with plenty of detail and the painting is beautiful.
After seeing his work up close...I would buy again... sight unseen.

One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!

Figures and armor I can get behind as well... Keep us updated. If the armor's good (not perfect even, just a good solid piece at the right scale with decent detailing), I'm in... If it's figures and they're articulated as well as FOV or 21st's stuff, again I'm in.
Planes... not so much.

since i know a little PH and admire a lot the skyworks production i am ready to commit wathever they ask for a HAWKER TEMPEST !
I think it's time that the 1/18 world know the best FIGHTER of its era !
(Of course if this model represent the famous JF - E "Grand Charles" of the FRENCH ace Pierre CLOSTERMANN ....the better

)
i am really excited to know their projects and it's true that i don't think the PHANTOM fiasco will reproduce in this case, since skyworks seems to be a little more extrem in its choices than its competitors ....
1/18 rocks !
1/18 mirage 2000 & RAFALE should i say more ?

Interesting, but I would have to have all the details laid out, and see at least a well-under way prototype before committing.

Yes, I have been very busy, but I’m back on my personal projects now, The Sturmgeschutz IV has been built and waiting for paint and detailing, The first one will hit E-bay in about a week or so. However my web site is still under construction but is coming along nicely, and will offer --do it yourself kits-- and built models of 1/18 Jagdpanthers , Jagdpanzers, Stug IV, (Early) Tigers, and Much more, so 1/18 armor is not dead----It’s just getting started-----

Nice to hear about the kits Hun. I will be
waiting to see what you have to offer on your website. I have a ton of Panzer IVs just screaming for a makeover.

As a small side business person myself, I understand the reluctance to say what all the new projects are.
In my dvd business if I say I will have a new dvd next month...this month dvd sales stop. As people will hold off to see what next's month release will be.
I imagine it works the same with 1/18. Skyworks has shown what they are working on now. All business ventures are a gamble.
Point, I would like a Hurricane, but the word is out about a Tony, so I will want to wait until I see it.
Now I don't even talk new release until it's done, packaged and ready to ship just to avoid the wait and see's.
