I'm sorry, but it kinda made me giggle when Mato asked you if you want to replace and fix the board yourself.

I was like, "WTF?"

Granted, I think the reason why the asked that was because 90% of the people in the 1/16th hobby are proficient with a soldering iron.
Yeah, it was kind of a dilemma, it could have been a simple loose connection for all I know, but I just didn't want to fool around with opening it up and hoping I could diagnose and/or fix it. I can use a soldering iron as good as anyone, I'm an FCC licensed technician class ham radio operator (callsign N3TTN) and I've tinkered with and built tons of circuit boards, but even if I had attempted to locate the trouble there was no guarantee I was gonna be able to fix it, and then I'd still have to re-assemble it, box it back up and return it, so in the end I decided to just return it and let Mato deal with it.

That's good to hear. With your background, I bet you could have fixed that Stug. But you're right to send it back. You paid for a working tank, you should get a working tank.
