New Custom Bad Guys

Post by Gunner » Wed May 04, 2005 6:13 pm

Did a head swap between a #1 Eastern Warrior and a #2.

Then I painted the turban on the headswapped guy and dusted the beard of the original with some gray. He really looks like an angry old terrorist now (he looks MUCH better in person).

Oh, I put some greasy black drybrush on the headswapped turban guy, especially on the feet.

I've got one EW1. I think I'll paint his pants a different color. I've looked at the leg attachment, and I think it will come off with the old hot water treatment. That will give me five different bad guys to hold me over until someone does some Russians.

I got four of the Easter figures: two each of #'s 1 and 2 and did the same head-swap as well! Looks good with the painted turban.

On another note, I thought about making a little dio with these figures blowing up a desert Hummer and then taking it into my History of the Modern Middle East class as a sort of political commentary :P

I give 21c kudos for at least giving us some modern "bad guys"!

Excellent work Gunner.

For a headswap & paint job, they do make the difference.

Maybe as Tman say`s a little dio similar to his thoughts,or even have them as Northan Alliance guys working with Special Forces (means you get to buy a 1/18 Diecast Toyota pickup & turn it into a GUNTRUCK ;) ).

Again excellent work mate.
