That could vary a bit, but I hope it's everywhere. The basic figures are much more competitive at that price.

I wish my Target got $20 vehicles in, period... Full price or not, they never have them. I'd like 3 more trucks and 3 more 4WD's.

Either way, nice to see the figures come down that much. It sounds like a little but in reality you'd save a lot if you're buying a lot. Worth it IMO.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this elsewhere, but, wouldn't the Indy Horse be useful for making mounted infantry? Just change up the saddle and maybe some paint mods.

Spotted the jungle cutter for the first time today. The troop car has completely disappeared for some reason. I want one but they're not at local Targets and WMs.

The jungle cutter is packed with the truck now, the troop car has been a no show since the jungle cutter came out.

there are lots of inexpensive, 1/18 motorcycles around...probably that exact bike in fact. Maisto makes a lot of them and they're pretty inexpensive at around $4 or so. They are well detailed with spoked wheels etc.

It's just military bikes that have been lacking in 1/18 scale.

Finally found a single truck at Target! I am very impressed; this looks better than I expected. Coupled with two FOV SS figures total cost was $24.99 with my rain check and $5 off coupon!

Found one today too and picked it up with a coupon (and a Russian). Also finally got a Sherman from FOV and a SW figure to use another coupon. Good day...

Finally I have a truck I can load up a PAK40 to, and put a team to operate it in the back and cab. Yay me.

Have you noticed less of the fov camo figs?

the camo figs sell way faster down here then non camo figs.

It is kind of hit or miss. These are no longer flying off the shelf, so Target is not so quick to restock them. If I had to take a guess I would say my AO will average 6 figures per store with a 50% chance of finding at least one of the camo Germans.

I keep telling myself I don't need anymore, but hey, I have to spend $25 to save $5. :D

Our FOV just restocked 2 weeks ago, and like that sold out pretty much. There's about 2 camo Germans and 2 green... But really, that's down from the completely full pegs of Germans and GI's that were there before the weekend, then Saturday I'm there and they're almost all gone...

Not bad at all on sell-through rates there. I see more green though, than camo. GI's tend to go first.

Not many FOV figures in my AO Targets. The last of the figs seem to be the U.S. GI's. The Germans, camo and green sold much better and at the same rate. Now if FOV would make some more Tiger I's I'd be happy, they never made it to the East Coast.

I've noticed that the Indy figures are starting to thin out. One of my Targets has had no figs for a while.

I miss it

Post by dandaman » Sat Jun 14, 2008 6:45 pm

I miss the initial excitement about the Indiana Jones figures...when the Crystal Skull movie first came out. This forum really united and it was actually fun to collect again. I haven't felt that way about collecting in years. But now that the Indy film has been out a while and the people are starting to lose interest in the figures, it's...it's just sad.

Post by dandaman » Mon Jun 16, 2008 7:51 pm

Will someone please let me know when another $5 off Target coupon magically appears? Or when there is another "buy 2 get 1 free" sale?

Must be nice to live in these wonderland places where there are sales every day...
