Do the arms come out of this figure as they do with 21st Century figures?
The reason I,m asking this is the long winter coats that came with the DAK figures might work as Russian winter coats. And would the 21st arms fit in the IJ arm sockets?

The arms would pop out if you boiled the figure first, however they're not as simple as just pulling on them and they pop off like on 21st Cent. figures.
I would say your next problem is that IJ figures are a bit shorter than 21st figures, and so you'll end up with fairly large "gorrilla arms" syndrome when you put it together. You'd have to fit the arms to the figure, and I don't know that it would really look right. Finding a Star Wars figure with "jacket" arms might be your better bet...
Or of course Indy's arms have jacketed arms too. Getting the overcoat to fit the figure may also be a problem however.
