I've seen about three of the flying tigers P-40s at my local TRU.

I'm assuming you're referring to the re-released P-40 in the special edition box. I've spotted them in one of our local TRU. Passed on them though.

What TRU do you go to? Is there one in Stillwater? If so, where? I have been to the one in Maplewood, and the one in Blaine (northtown mall) and all I can find is two F-104s.

There are no TRUs in Stillwater. I also use the maplewood one, but as you mentioned, it only has F-104s. There's one in St. Paul in the Mall of America area. This is where I spotted the P-40s.

Well, I visit the TRU in Blaine and Woodbury somewhat regularly but the last couple times I checked I was only able to find some 1/32 FW190D's, a 2 1/18 F-104's at the woodbruy location. Hub Hobby had a few 1/18 planes a few months ago but they were way over priced so I left them there. I checked back a couple weeks ago and they were gone. Aside from those three places I cannot think of any other option for us. I think Historic Aviation is located in or around the Arden Hills area, but I'm not sure if you can pick up items directly from their warehouse. Any other MN guys have any hot spots for 1/18 aircraft? Man I miss the days when Wal-mart had them stacked floor to ceiling.

I pick up 1/18 aircraft from the Historic Aviation a warehouse all the time you just know exactly what you want to pick up. Also, I thought that the TRU in Woodbury was replaced with a Babies R Us several years ago. Is there another one in the area?

Whoops, I meant the TRU in Maplewood. I always mix up Woodbury and Maplewood. Just to clarify, it's the one located right off 694 and White Bear Ave. Now that I know you can pick up items from Historic Aviations warehouse I have a new option, thanks.
