I need some 1/18 scale humor!

Post by dandaman » Sat May 10, 2008 10:01 pm

Would someone please post their story about how they saw a really cool looking 1/18 item in the store, only to bring it home and be so completely humiliated that they bought it?

But I'm talking to the point where it's already been opened, you can't return it, you can't sell it, and you can't use it for customization.

I need some 1/18 humor please!

Bought or got for free at a garage sale. A BBI Sherman that is just a hulk with tracks no gun hatches etc. Still don't know what I am going to do with it  *eyes garbage can*

1/18 humor:

"Did you hear the one about the farmer's daughter and the traveling salesman who sold 1/18 figures and planes?..."

1/18 scale humor?
Hmmmm. lets see. Ok, I got it. 21st Century will make an 18th scale B-25, F-4, and MIG-21. Now that is funny! :D

Oh my God...

Q : How many 1/18th scale F-104s typically fall from the ceiling on any given day?

A : The Germans figure 20 for every one that stays up.

:D Made that one up. Thought it quite clever, thank you.

I sure hope 21st Century comes out with that F-4 soon. I don't know how long I can hold on to this $89.99. :D
