interesting 21st Century KT update from the CAT

Post by Yoxford » Fri May 09, 2008 6:24 am

Hmmm maybe someone is listening ...just read this from the BadCat news letter...

For 1:18 fans, the Rudel Stuka is scheduled to arrive at the 21st Century Toys warehouse next week. The Panther Tank is due-in the week after. Fine tuning of the King Tiger and the Flak II tooling is reportedly underway. Expect these two pieces later this year.
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

That's somewhat comforting to know. I wish they had mentioned that the prices were going to be reduced somewhat.

Fine tuning of the King Tiger and the Flak II... (should that be 88?) Expect these two pieces later this year.
I'm hoping the fine tuning is on the price or maybe an added tank crew.

Well, at least we now know the claim that "they will be on the water within a few weeks" or however TKO phrased it a couple months ago was a little less than accurate. Can't blame TKO--his information is only as good as what 21st tells him to say, and I suspect they are less than honest with him on things, either.

They are trying to see what they can do to cut corners to get the price down to $39.94
