New 1/6 Browning .30 MG sets

Post by olifant » Thu Mar 20, 2008 11:41 pm

I am not sure where else to post this, but I was surprised to see a bunch of 21C 1/6 Browning .30 MG sets at WM last night. There were two models, the air cooled and water cooled. They each came with a small ammo can, large ammo can, tripod and two belts of ammo. Looked pretty darn good too.

Are these a re-release or a new offering?

When I first started seeing these they were new to me. Just due to the packaging and the other 1/6 weapon sets that they've released over the last year or so is why I think it's new. It's all a bit surprising since they've recently stated that 1/6 is dead to them and their trend to smaller scale stuff.

The RPG set is the only one I got. I'm happy with it due to the price and it's certainly good enough. The others I past on since I have better ones from other manufacturers.

I have not had a chance to find on of these sets but they appear to be new packaging on old product. I have several of the 21C water cooled .30's, mostly collected with my WSC's and from eBay. I like them and will see if they are the same as these sets.

Sure look good, when my kids were growing up I used to tell the wifey, with kids, you never can have enough balls, now I'm saying you just can never have enough good machine guns.... 8)
