no pics of the figures yet. The vehicles are repaints of the jeep, m113, Patton and Huey. I wonder if any of those vehicles are actually in the movie....i haven't seen any of them in the trailer.

I hope the 1/18 jeep is sand colour....i want to make an SAS jeep out of it. And i hope the figures come dressed arabic like, i want to use them as my SAS dudes.

Yes, I've seen photos of 3 of those in the movies, the Huey, Jeep, and Patton Tank. All three look exactly as 21st has them, almost down to the exact same paint scheme placement. 21st did a great job.

Hey, cool, they added an M113 to the line? :) When did that happen?

yea - you can see where they plucked off the gear and left the holes
Hopefully there will be new gear on them that I can swap out to my other ones.
I saw a preview last night that was actually much better than the earlier ones and although a blatant attempt to recreate Indiana Jones type adventure it didn't look as bad as I thought it would. Anyway, I'm with Aferg in that I really hope they release figures with head scarves to use as SAS or Modern SF Operators. I don't need a scrawny guy in a flowered shirt, that's for sure....

If you want to be picky, the movie uses a UH-1D instead of the XD UH-1C version.... Yeah, I had to point that out, sorry.....

What are the main differences between a UH-1C and a UH-1D?

From what I can see it looks like a D is longer...but otherwise?

Would a conversion be possible? Cos I'd love to be able to do a German Bundesgrenzschutz Huey.

I'm not very knowledgable at all on the subject, but if it was realistic I could do a little more research.

....I reckon it could be a go-er.

If I can get hold of one. :|

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit.

The UH-1D has an uprated engine, remodeled engine cowl and is lengthened as well. I can always tell a D model from the C in that the D model has 2 windows on the sliding door compared to the C model's single one......

Hopefully I'll be able find one at a price that allows me risk cutting it about.
