Yes it's a good idea ! we need a late model spitfire to challenge those Me 262 & 109 G6 or FW 190 D late models...

check this : http://www.hobbymastercollector.com/HA7 ... JSpit.html

i think we've got a winner ( i am clearly out of 1/48 since i started collecting die cast aircrafts , now i am mainly in 1/18 & 1/72 but this one spit makes me wonder particularly after seeing this beauty in flesh : there is 2 models : razorback and bubble canopy ... both are incredible and the proppeller is HUGE must have been a real monster torque !)

it could be a nice choice between the 2 version (just like a nice P51B in 1/18 to complete the nice P51D we have)
1/18 mirage 2000 & RAFALE should i say more ?

we need a plethora of spitfires. Desert V's, mk ix's, mk xiv's....all with clipped wing options.

Where's the plethora option in the poll?

I was watching some videos of Spitfires in flight today. What a beautiful shape the Spitfire has in the sky. The shape of the wing just adds to its beauty.

As much as I would love a new Spitfire, I would really love a Hawker Hurricane. How cool would those two models look side by side? :D
