Leaving for a week

Post by tko211 » Fri Jan 25, 2008 9:20 pm

Hey guys, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am going to be out of the country for a week on vacation. This means that my sweet wife has banned use of all computers, cell phones, and e-mail. She knows I would be tempted to do work so.... This means that there will be no new posts all next week,,, Well till Friday anyway. But when I get back the frist thing I am going to post is going to be 1:18. An old friend will be returning in all new paint!

Untill then, keep up the posts and follow up on all the latest so that when I return there will be some new stuff to read!

Travel safely! Where are you going out of the country? Unless its a really backwoods place, you can always access the internet from an Internet Cafe, your hotel, etc.

Always when the wife is not looking, of course

I am going to Cabo! Funny thing is I just bought an iphone so that I could stay more in touch when I travel. But even the iphone can't solve the "quality time" issue! LOL

-Actually, I am really looking forward to the time off.

Have a good time TKO. Couple of hints:

- Try to get a few sips of water in between the beers
- Don't short cut through the alleys where they are loading food into the restaraunts/hotels.
- Remember the phrase "Si habla XD?"

Maybe there's a Walmart there that you can check to see if the new PLATOON or duel packs are on the shelves! :D
(Hope the 'old friend' is a WWII JEEP)

TKO, I was just in Mexico last week and I can tell you that iPhones do work on the Telcel network down there but you will need to enable data roaming on your settings to get emails, notification, and URL web access.
Just get ready for the additional cost!
Have a great vacation.
