My guess is that this King Tiger will be released as an RC tank first?tko211 wrote:T I would also expect a bit of an increase on these items over the typical vehicle price. So we all might want to brace ourselves for that when it comes. There is also another little secret about the King Tiger that I am hoping to be able to shed light on pretty soon.
And mebbe a 79.99 price point?
Or is it the magical 89.99 price?

At the Panzer Museum in Thun, Switzerland there is a Königstiger and Jagdpanther sitting side by side (or at least they used to) and if I recall correctly there was also a Panther A next to the Jagdpanther, from my recollection the overall size of all three is quite simular.kimtheredxd wrote:Just looking at my 1/32 scale panther and king tiger not much difference in size between the two
On the other side of the Königstiger there was also a Sherman which let me see how its size compared with the German tanks of WWII, as next to the Panther there also was a Stug III, Jagdpanzer IV, Hetzer (a real one not a G-13) and a Mk IV all in a row.
I'll have to look through my photo albums to find the pictures that I took (pre digital days), but for now here are some images I quickly Googled:
