MG-42:

I said the "paint scheme" of the Tiger photo on the Abrams box and the 1/16 Tiger are similar.

No FOV 1:18 WW2 stuff around Pittsburgh YET! :x

This is really starting to pi$$ me off a bit... No Tigers, no figures. Just me, and I'm annoyed. Not much I collect is really getting much in right now... I'm in a lull. Blah.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

I think it's the NorthEast's lot in life. ;) We're always sort of on the crummy end of distribution for any toy line... XD's no different, nor is FOV.

You know what gets me....... I got money to spend on this stuff and can't find it. :x Then I end up pi$$ing it away on food or gas. :P I did that this past weekend, had $100 I was looking for some Tiger I's and FOV figures. Three Targets later.... nothing so I put $50 in the truck and $50 in the car.
Maybe this FOV stuff will show next Fall. :?

I found German and Americans but no dice on the 1/18th tanks in fact there is no area set aside for 1/18th vehicles.

I still can't find any of the FOV WW2 stuff yet. A couple of the other Houston guys have reported a Tiger spotting or two, but I guess somebody else got to it before I could. I would just like to see some of this stuff show instead of just finding the leftover FOV modern stuff from Christmas.

I have seen the single WWII pack at several Targets in Houston. The Main/OST and the I-10/downtown store had them. The Meyerland store had the pegs for the 2-packs but nothing on them.

No 1/18 vehicles since they were 30% off.

KEVRUT:

Were the Shermans at clearance price or the normal $20?

Picked up the new World War II US infantry today at Target. They did not have the Germans, but they also had the green Sherman tank but I passed on that for now.

Signs of life in the sticks...

Post by c44 » Thu Jan 17, 2008 11:15 pm

Found 2 Germans & 4 Amis at the Riverhead LI Target, strange in that this is the ass end of the ass end of East Coast distribution, how'd they get to this particular location when so many others have been passed by...? Anyhow, the stock clerk looked up on the Star Trek device to see if there were any more in the back, no luck...and while the guy was helpful, his eyes started to glaze over when I asked if he had seen any of the WW II tanks I pointed out on the back of a Bradley box...stayin' hopeful, signin' out...

I went to Target on Thursday and looked for the "Target Thursday" clearance posted elsewhere---I scanned an FOV Bradley and it was still at $17.99.

I visited 3 Targets this week and found only Bradleys.

I hit three Targets yesterday as well as one today and saw nothing in 1/18 other than Bradleys. It was funny because each store had exactly two of them on the shelf. I guess though I should consider myself lucky for finding one of the solid green Shermans a couple weeks ago, but jeesh, enough with the Bradleys. :x
It is what it is.

Same here two bradley's one each type marked 17.99 Plus some FOV modern figures. To any one in the Seattle Tacoma area I was thinking about a road trip around the sound Seattle through Tacoma and then home. So the question is any Fov tigers or Shermie's been sighted in those areas and if so which store thanks for any help.
Could not think of anything to put here.

Yeah I forgot to mention that I have seen plenty of the modern and WWII 1/18 figures here in various Targets, but when it comes to vehicles- nothing but Bradleys lately.
It is what it is.

I hit 5 Targets in 2 days, found 6 US and 6 German FOV figures at 2 locations. So I got 2 sets of Germans and 3 US figures. Target must be testing the waters with this WWII line, when the modern US Army and USMC figs came out all 5 of these stores had 3 or 4 pegs full of them.
No tigers  but all 5 stores had two Bradleys, one of each camo scheme.... starting to see a pattern here
