Ditto...I would like to see some examples of different structures and styles. I noticed he also offers a sign creator program, and water slip decal paper for inkjet printers...hmm...lots of possibilities there for road/building signs and vehicle markings (using your own imported graphics) I should think...I may e-mail him and see if there is a list of the different buildings, or at least the categories...

Here are some examples made using the software:
http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/so.html
Apparently you can assemble buildings from image parts and create new designs as well as import files. So I see no reason you couldn't find/make adequate buildings for any period or scale offered by 21st.

Looks great. Presumably after printing out your building sections on the matte photo paper, you would then need to secure these to some type of solid backing like poster board etc, and that should be pretty straightforward to do. The system seems pretty flexible too if you can import images and so forth, that feature should allow you to do battle damage and other effects fairly easily.

Out of curiosity I printed out one of the samples provided at the website, and I must say, the results are pretty impressive. Now granted, this is a just a building facade, not a complete structure, but it does give you an idea of the possibilities for this software. I used the 1/48th scale Wirbelwind because it seemed to match the scale of the building fairly closely. What do you guys think... looks pretty good to me.

Hi, here's a link to where you can download entire buildings and print them out...1/16th scale. Once made they all fit inside each other.
The page is a bit messy as we are moving web hosts.

i have some old late 70s early 80s 3 3/4" western figures like butch and sundance and lone ranger etc.. that i always wanted to make a nice dio out of and awhile back i bought a few western town paper build sets like these for use with railroad dioramas.
the plan was always to blow them up to the size i need, unfortanetly i never have gotten around to doing it because i dont have good printing equipment, but i messed with them enough to know these paper buildings can actually be pretty hard to construct well.

for me i think it is more of like a reference . I need to know the correct size and shape to see if they might work well... it also help if i want some one to make me stuff to know that they will make the item the size and shape i wanted....
hay it help cut down on doing the scaling yourself...
hay if you make a project with less problem.. also if you need to build a base for your cities scape it is nice to get the feeling of how bigs thing are going to be...
Kinko i think can do some printing for me save me some time to get the hard ware

For anyone who might be interested in this software, check out the review at O Guage Watch.. http://www.ogaugewatch.com/ogaugewatchc ... .html#more These guys are very picky about detail, and they were skeptical about the potential quality of these paper buildings, but after putting the software through the wringer, the results exceeded all their expectations. Here is a sample pic from the review... http://www.ogaugewatch.com/.shared/imag ... photo4.jpg I gotta tell you, the possibilities for this are very exciting for diorama builders in my opinion. At any rate, I ordered a copy, and it should be here next week sometime, and when the time comes I will post some pics.

I like it!
I wish that there was the option of modern buildings and village hut for NAM hooches....I wonder if those can be customizable??
but i think this may be a good idea to add buildings to the dioramas.
thanks.

Apparently you can import images and graphics, so in theory at least, you should be able to produce items from pretty much any time period you want.I like it!

Okay, I am terrible at math, so guys help me out here.
How tall would a potential 1 story structure have to be to work with this 1/18 CD program? I saw some after christmas boxes shaped like houses at Big lots and wondered if they would be tall enough to work with 1/18 Xd figs?
My intention is to buy the pre-made box and print out a sample of the bricks and paste it on the house to make a ready made building.

Should be pretty easy to do...just input the numbers into the "convert" program mentioned in another thread to determine the scale of your building, then print out your brick pattern using that scale in the model builder software which handles any scale between 1:10 and 1:300
Here's a link to the convert program which is a free download... http://www.freeware-guide.com/OldGoodFr ... nvert.html
To be honest though, if you think these cardboard buildings are close to 1:18 scale, then just print out 1:18 scale bricks in the model builder program and you'll be set, no math or conversions needed...
