PAKs aplenty at Holbrook & Brentwood TRU's, now waiting for the Quad 50 1/2 track to arrive...cruising to different stores is always unpleasant this time of year (yeah, shopping in December gives me Scrooge fever)...but I'll be a jolly fellow if some XD surprises turn up before the New Year...

SOunds like I should check out the Brats R Us on the way home from pickin' Deb up from work. Last time they had the VNs in and like Razor said, there was a few White guys and 3 times as many Black soldiers. Only a few DAKs for the other 21st C though :( Would like to see the Compass figures ;) Da General

Patience my friend, and expect to see these at E-tailers and of course on evilbay prior to finding them sitting on the shelves.

stopped back by the cobb galleria TRU today after exams and finally picked up the Sdkfz 251/22 with pak 40 for 29.99$

Of course the day I decide to finally buy one for fear I wont see it for a while - I find the new pak 40 - the paint scheme looks great - but after buying 4-5 of them last year at 12.99 a pop - I cant see paying 29.99. besides they were 24.99 full price at WM.

Wake up TRU and 21st

and of course I picked yup the golden ticket/compass whatever figure with the goggles and jacket - gave the animal to my daughter.
This TRU still has the VN figures - it dosnt look like anyone bought any since I bought a few last tuesday.
Also found the new BBI modern figures - the marine corps sniper has a great head for the DAK figure - add the golden compass goggles after a quick trip - looks great for the pak-40 hannomag crew.

Well, I got sort of lucky today and found only two of the 21c Vietnam figures at one of my local TRUs. I'm sort of bummed as someone had gotten there before me and snagged the rest. The other DAK and Otto German figures were still there. Luckily the two figures I found were two of the ones I really wanted - the M-60 gunner and the Zach Sharples (aka TKO211) figures.

I also snagged a couple new Star Wars figures that I was looking for, so the trip was not entirely a bust

Hope to eventually see more of the VN figures, though...

Tulsa TRU has the VN figures, Pak40 repaint and pretty much everything else..

Revisited the same TRU today and found they had restocked the Vietnam figures and now I've got a complete set 8) The figures are nice, though nothing near the level of the BBI figures. I like the optional legs as that feature makes for some nice poses. The grenade accessories are good as well. Personally, I think I am still partial to the original 21c Vietnam figures at least in terms of their overall paintjob and the quality of the weapons. There's just something about the paints 21c uses these days...

Finally was able to find those new VN figs today at a TRU along with the new BBI figs. I was beginning to think that they would be AWOL in my area. :D

The camo M-16 Halftrack and 1:6 MG-34 weapons set from 21st Century have made it to the Cary, NC TRU. No sign of the VN figures, however.

Discovered three of the VN figures at the South Portland, ME TRU today. There were two of each which made me wonder why the missing one was so popular???

I've also found 3 of the 4 VN figures at two different TRU, but have yet to find that elusive 4th one - Pvt. Jackson. :(

Isn't Jackson the African-American one? If so, they must have all gone to my area. Both the TRUs in Fresno have by now stocked the VN figures and the assortment struck me as odd: about a 2:1 ratio of Jackson figures versus the others. I picked up about three more Jacksons and used extra arms and heads to make some new figures.

Nice part about the Vietnam figures is that you can put different heads on them with much more ease than the D-Day series figures 8)

Your are talking about the black Grendier, right?
If so, we have TONS of him at my local TRU.
PM me and let me know how many you need.

Yep. That's the one on AWOL. I'll keep looking for several more weeks and if I'm not successful in finding any, I'll take you up on your offer if they are still available in your area. Thanks for the offer.

Went down to AR last nite and found 1 camo M16, I like it, very nice weathering on the example I found. They also had tons of the new VN figs, all 4. Primarily the black dude. Only aircraft was the new 190D.
