anyone have one of these? Looks customizable...can't see the bike too well but the sidecar looks decent. Swap out the wheels with better ones, paint, mg etc

Isn't that the PTE bike? I haven't seen it in my area in person, but that's what it looks like from the picture.

I would say it is easily customizable. The side car looks perfect

this wasn't an ebay find, this was a question about a 1/18 scale item.

agreed Tman...i was thinking maybe i could graft a Maisto WWII Harley onto the (modified) sidecar. I"ve already made a Harley into a German solo bike, so should work just as well for a sidecar combo too. Fortunately, all motorcycles look pretty much the same to me, so the Harley works well (with some mods) as a BMW of the same era.

its a cool little piece i have a few, i bought from john as well, i think with some mod wheels or a swap of the bike to an older german one can work, some 24th scale model spoke wheels might be a good place for replacement wheels wthiout butchering another bike

I too have seen these on Evil bay too.
Yet I have also been foolish to take the plunge and win(buy) 3 different custom cycles with side car at a high price. But I look at it this as being a time saver so I can build my camp and modify my tanks and vehicles ;) Da General

It is a cool little bike i have a couple from John and they are in my to mod pile as Robopredator says the wheels aren't that great but with a few mods it would be a great piece!
