Why not just buy all of them.

Lovin' the figures TKO, and I'm not even a Nam guy... I'll definitely get a set though. And I too would like to voice some hope/concerns over an NVA or VC figure. I'd lean more towards VC though... I'm hopin' that's what we get.
Great figures though in general. Love the gear, the extra legs are neat and I don't even like the pre-posed stuff... I'll get a small platoon of these fellows though for certain.

Hey I just noticed that, same name and everything

TKO now joins the ranks of those few celebrities that have their own action figure of themselves

You guys are having alot of fun with the figure name thing! LOL. I gotta admit I was honored to find that out myself. The Mustang thing was FANTASTIC on Roy's part. He picked it out and just more or less said what do you think about us doing this? He really is such a good guy and a great friend to me. Very cool indeed.
And a huge thanks to everyone who has given the thumbs up! It somehow makes it all the more unique and special to me!

I was wondering: (1) if there's any chance these figures will be sold as a set and (2) what's the difference between these and the Platoon figures, just the head sculpts?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Heads are obviously the major difference, but I also think there might be unique bodies? I cant say for sure on that. Also the unit patches / markings will obviously be different as well.

These Nam guys look good, but what is with the gorilla arm look? I noticed that on the Platoon figures too. I hope this is not a thing to come on all new figures. I think the arms should be a little wider at the shoulders to allow a more natural look. The extra legs should make up for this, so I'll be looking for these guys. Any news on where they will be? Wal-Mart, TRU, or both?

Well, #4 is up, and no enemies for these guys to shoot at.

Okay, I want to see if I've lost count. We have these four Vietnam figures. We've seen 4 Platoon figures. I thought there were two other unpainted Vietnam figures. Is that right?
If not, it seems there could be cases of 2X each Platoon guy, and 2X each generic Vietnam guy. Not bad, but hoping somehow 21C manages to surprise us an sneak some figures out we haven't seen yet.
In any case, glad to see at least some Vietnam action.

Oh, there will be more figures for sure. These are just the ones 21c was ready to show and tell. I know there are other dual 2 packs to come so at the very least there are those to look forward to. There are others that I know will be single packed as well.
Those might be early 2008 releases though. -not certain.

Should I be allowed to count the "Jesse James" guy from the D-Day series as named after me? Not that I do... but hey, it'd be nice.

I mean, it is actually my name, and how often do you see that really?
Eh... I can dream I guess. He doesn't really look like me though.

Just looking for an update! still waiting for the flood.
And whats with the 1/6th scale MG34!!! Doesn't 21c know that EVERY 1/6th scale WW2 manufacturer has already made this, some in real metal, leather straps, that break down and with extra barrels?!! This one is destined for the closeout section.
My suggestion for 21stC, stick to 1/18th and smaller. They, for the most part, "invented" or "re-invented" 1/18th scale and have re-invented 1/32 planes. Quit dabbling in 1/6th (unless they are going into it whole hog like the old days when they made a 1/6th tank!) and focus their limited resources on new 1/18, 1/32 releases.
