“Broken Arrow” “Broken Arrow”

Post by VMF115 » Sun Nov 11, 2007 1:33 pm

Where is the AT A-1 sky raider and the 21st F-4???????????????????????

Soon our 21st Vietnam figures will need some serious air support just incase the enemy overruns their lines.

While you guys are at it why not make the following Vietnam era Aircraft:

A-4
A-6
A-7
F-8
F-100
F-105
Mig-17
Mig-19
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

American forces during the Vietnam War typically referred to members of the NLF as Victor Charlie or simply Charlie, from the NATO phonetic alphabethttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viet_Cong
It’s just another way to say VC and there where many of those running around South Vietnam

I'm sorry---my attempt at humor failed. :(
I assumed everyone had seen Good Morning Vietnam.

I promise I shall not quit my day job.

Okay, when I visit a TRU next time I'll look for the US figures in the Action Figure aisle. And I will take a look if there are any trees near the TRU building to look for the Charlie figures.

I couldn't remember the exact line that Robin Williams used after he said that. I think he said "They're all named quan or chang" Something like that. It's been a long time since I've seen that movie. :D

There's a bunch of oleanders around my closest TRU. Next time I'm there, I make sure I have some napalm. I'll clear them nasty weeds out, and look for signs of the enemy.
