So did I :D As usual, I decided I wanted this plane too late after they were all gone. (I have the Pearl Harbor variant, but the green one actually goes with the Hellcat and Corsair better.) The insane ebay prices were out of the question and boardmember Aviatornut, who had recently sold the "last" of his initial stock, could get me one for $145 from another customer. Way too much in my opinion for a plastic toy plane! I'm glad BBI stepped up to the plate this time around

didn't someone mention a rumour about another Zero repaint coming out soon? I really dont want to get another one the same as i've already got. Lots of good paint schemes to choose from, including some Japanese ace schemes...

Another Zero scheme would be a good idea on BBI's part. They already have several for the P-51 and Corsair, so why not the Zero? I agree that there are alot of ace schemes they could do.

The next Zero re-paint was apparently at the ihobby expo and is due to come out 1st quater 2008. It is going to be solomon Islands markings with like an all over tan/cream with splotchy green patches on it.

here is what it looks like... http://trinketstotreasures.com/images/b11c976.jpg

I love my BBI green Zero, and I really hope for more paint schemes for that model in the future.
