Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

I'd say BBI since at the lst toyfair, the sign said "coming soon" and it was in a production box..

So, AT has had what? two big delays and we are closing in on a year since a certain etailer has offered a pre-order and demanded full payment........and we have what?....nothing.......and what has that etailer got, besides our money sitting in his bank?....I wonder.... 8)

At least with the two year and then some wait for the 21C Avenger, we weren't waiting for a toy we had already paid for.

P.S. - When I joined the Army, my aged Aunt said "Keep it in your pants and stay away from them aeroplanes".........well, now she has been proven right on both cases.... .......now where is my KT...

Yeah, but I do blame the e-tailer for where your money is, not the manufscturer. Most e-tailers won't charge you until your order is ready to ship. But apparently not all. Have faith--the Dauntless won't be another Avenger.

I didn't use paypal, no charge as yet, and I don't expect to see one until it ships. All the etailers have been good about this.

I guess, that is what fries my onions...the fact that MOST etailers taking a pre-order will take a token $5 or $10 deposit, if at all and then contact you when the order is at the etailer, especially when a delay is encountered just because alot of people change credit cards or even banks in a year time span. I pre-order alot of my 1/6 toys and dollies with a $5 or $10 deposit, and full payment in advance with no delivery date close bothers me.

I do have a $500 pre-order in the works but that is for a limited production item with a 3 month wait, so just chalk this Dauntless rant up to being cranky....

Is this Dragons 251!!! If it is, please let me know what you think!! I'd recently gone over to the 1/6 side and this seems pretty awesome.

Chunks:
The pre-order I was referring to is the DID "251". I have yet to be disappointed with anything DID has put out, so far, so when they announced a pre built and painted metal half track with a production run of only 300 for the USA (when you snooze, you loose) .....I just had to say...count me in.........my AH "250", needs company on my 1/6 wall. This "251" should be very nice.

In my book, nothing beats "the dark side" 1/6 for figs and some vehicles are just awesome. Of course, room is a problem....I am now space deprived for the first time in my life, so the FOA Tiger, will just not be in my future.....but that doesn't mean a 75mm Pack Howitzer won't find a home with me, soon, or my 1/18 KT or B-25 or....or...or...

You guys are easy...er...I mean gentlemen who wouldn't bite my head off if I put in the "251" as a crew a guy in a uniform that wouldn't fit with the paint....sure I'll put a pic up when I get it...

My webshots site will have new pics when I get the "251". Most of my stuff is there, except it's not current with my move and all....still missing a few boxes of both 1/6 and 1/18 toys and dollies...I have big gaps on my shelves....that shouldn't be..... the missing boxes are buried in the garage under Mrs. TTT stuff...the nerve of her...

TTT, not at all!! If you could crew it with Madam Marie in a tight red sweater, that would work fine. :D
