I think it's a pretty cool collection myself. Lot's of ways of enjoying this hobby; and building a whole panzer division is certainly a good way to go about it.

(but i bet it's not even close to the biggest collection of 1/18 panthers on the planet ;) )

I just wonder who has the most Panthers on the planet???? Probably 21st, with their stash in the storage room in the parking lot in the back of the building.

The Americans also have a good number of tanks, but as many as the Huns. The General
GB Very impressive!!

But have you considered "Special Effects" to cut down the numbers? Or even smaller scales in the background to force perspective?

Man, your Sic!! Sic as me! I love it!

As previously mentioned the number of tanks in a German panzer division varied considerably, especially as the war progressed. The 1941 TO&E of a panzer divison showed an average tank strength of around 150-200 machines of various types. Russian armored divisions after 1941 were usually smaller (I think) and US armored divisions were larger. One of the best online references for WWII TO&E's and OOB's comes from Dr. Leo Niehorster's site here.... http://niehorster.orbat.com/000_admin/000oob.htm

Needless to say, you are a few tanks shy of a division, but a nice "Kampfgruppe" all the same. 8)
