BCA sale- admiral 262

Post by mikeg » Wed Sep 19, 2007 5:24 pm

Whoever thought that the Admiral white 8 262 would sell for 29.00. The same as the (what were they thinkin?) sky captain P-40. I'm sure the 21st 262 is exquisite, but still- BCA still has bent prop ridge runners selling for almost 60.00- I guess if you haven't gotten a white 8 now is as good a time as any..

Thanks for the heads up mikeg. I just bought 3 of them. At that price I just could not pass them up.

An excellent price for an otherwise excellently rendered aircraft. Why put down $70 for a ME-262 with seatbelts and moving aielerons when you can get practically the same thing for $29?

Still, I'd better get one lest the AT ME-262 turn into something like the BBI Zero...

Sheesh ! ...

You think they could sell these any cheaper ?

Glad I got one !

It's weird though ,.. one week they're $37.99 - $34.19 ,.. then back up to full price $55.99 the next. ... Now it's $29.00 ... Unbelievable !

Its a great idea actually. Your competion just comes out with the same model as you have and then you undercut them for half the price. I'm sure Admiral doesn't make a dime on the deal but it does hurt 21st sales just a bit and is a jab for the ToyFair Fiasco.

I just got mine today, well they came yesterday but I had duty. I think im gonna keep them both in the box, but its going to be really hard to do. I took one out to look at it. I think it is a very beautiful model, the cockpit isnt that great and neither is the pilot (looks pretty crappy) but the overall plane is wonderful. Ive always liked the shape of the 262 but seeing it in 1/18 is freakin awesome! Im glad I looked at this post when I did, the plane is back up to 59.00 clams. thanks for the heads up Mikeg!!
