News Flash!!!!!! My local wallmart had 4 21st items, first time in TEN weeks. The only thing is its the 32xw Xtreme Wings. 2 Me262 yellow 7, 1 P51 B.B.D. and a Trop 109 yellow 4 which I took home with me.
The quality of these 3 aircraft is the best I've in a long time. Now if wally would stock some 1/18th XD I'd be a happy trooper. :?

Wow! I went to my local walmart in Orange ('The Village in Orange' I guess it's called now) in Orange County (SoCal)... they had a TON of FW-190s on three different racks throughout the toy isle! Black 12 and Chevron 190. They also had the BBD P-51 32xw (Extreme Wings).

I agree.. A local Supercenter which never had much in the way of 21st Now has the EW 32x planes and the New Fw-190s..
I came home with the Me-262 and Fw-190.. I was considering the Trop 109, and still might swing back to pick it up..

Back in Fresno for the long weekend, so now that I have a car, I made my usual Wal Mart rounds :

West Shaw Ave store -- only Winter Tigers and Desert Bradleys (6 each); 4 OD Green R/C Stuarts

Herndon & Ingram Ave store -- Black 1 and Blue 12 FW-190s (4 in all)

Kings Canyon & Peach store -- Tropical and Night BF-109Es (2 each); 1:6 Kubelwagon & MB Jeep (2 each and those are very nice!); 6 R/C Stuarts in an awesome new USMC cammo pattern

Finally saw the 32X repaints at WM near 183 in Austin, they had all 3 planes, otherwise same old FW 190's s1,& s2. Not much else. It looks grim here in central texas since the stores still have product from before Christmas or have clearanced everything in the XD 1:18 line.

Stopped by the toy section of a local WM today and found 5 Xd planes. The ctach was they were 21C blue boxes, not WM Motorworks boxes. The Tigers were marked down to 19.99. they had M113's but didnt check the price.

i posted a buena park walmart recon a couple weeks ago - still same stuff...
winter tigers, m113, and desert M2 - all are now marked down to $30.
also 1 Me-109E -S7 still for $40

so i picked up a winter tiger...WORD OF CAUTION - i was hoping the tiger commander was hidding somewhere in the inserts or something but looks like the walmart version winter tiger only comes with the driver shown ONLY ONE DRIVER..not the other tank commander. so if you want two tank crewmembers when you buy a tiger look elsewhere besides walmart. but i guess for $30 and under (as been seen in other areas) it's not too bad a price...still wish i had the patience to wait til they got to $12 :D

6 FW-190 D9s (as previously reported, they don't seem to be moving)
Did not see any 1:32 stuff.

Nooker,
The Gallands seem to be an East Coast plan, same with the Kepfords. I suggest you buy a Nightfighter and trade it for a Galland. I have a feeling there will be takers....

My local WM here in Bellingham still has seven of the early 190's on the shelf. Five in Motorworks boxes and two in 21st Century Boxes. I talked to the manager and he said until I sell these, I will not get any new ones in. Ok, now the catch is, he will not discount them. They have been there for over 6-months. Oh well, scratch off that store for anything new. Anyone know where I can get a Nightfighter, without having to pay through the nose on eBay?

sounds like one of the WM's in my AO...they've still got roughly 15 different A/C and several of the new armor pieces, literally collecting dust at full price as this seems to be the only store that hasn't discounted any of it's 1:18 items! I have yet to talk to a manager, but someone suggested taking a receipt from a store where you purchased an XD item at discount (not necessarily "Clearance") and chances are the Manager will match the price if theres a good amount of stock on the shelves.

thanks digger for the info about the galland 109s being on the east coast. i know this belongs in the trader section, but i'd be willing to hunt down a night fighter 109 for an even trade if anyone out there is interested...
