Re: Brand and international webshop advice
“Who’s on first? What’s on second?” Kaap, it’s an old, classic American baseball joke. There is a confusion due to the first baseman named, “Who.” and, second basement named, “What.” You can go to “Youtube.com” and type in “Who’s on first?” to see and hear the joke. Weight shown are loose, not in a ...

hworth18,
I was also distressed about broken tail wheel on a bomber. Thanks to your contact information, I am relieved. I thought the bomber was “trashed.”

Re: Brand and international webshop advice
There's 1 more thing I'd like to know. The 1:32 / 1:35 models, about how heavy are they? 1/35 Dragon Armor: 100% plastic. Details and paint are great. It’s as if you had hired someone to build the plastic model and paint it. In essence, it is. This is actually the same Dragon plastic model that you...

Re: Dragon Armor 1 72 Brummbar??
Easy Model (MRC) have 1/72 Brummbar.
I do realize Easy Model armors are not as good as Dragon Armors. But, most of Easy Model armors are good enough. If you can buy Brummbars on sale, you should consider them.

60064 Brummbar early production snow camo
60065 Brummbar early production 2-tone camo
Those are listed on 1/72 Dragon Armor. I have never seen one. I would not be surprised if they were never produced.

What the owner did was reprehensible. I guess a desperate time calls for a desperate, foolish action. He will pay back the money and will go to jail. In the past, I have ordered from MTS without any problem. As long as they have items with a good price, I will still order from them. If they do not s...

Kaap. Previously provided forum site has few Dutch members. You may want to send them an email for an advice. Although the site is mostly about diecast planes, I am sure they also know about diecast armors. http://www.thediecasthangarpub.com This gentleman has a diecast reference site in your countr...

Re: Brand and international webshop advice
Welcome Kaap, I have the same experience. I used to build military models when I was kid. Now, as a father of three children, I just do not have time nor the motivation to build models anymore. I started with collecting 1/32-1/35 diecast armors. Then, went onto collecting 1/72 diecast armors and 1/7...

I would be interested in purchasing diorama if the price is reasonable and has realistic details. I would use them for either displaying purposes and/or photo shooting 1/72 armors and planes. However, I collect armors and planes, not diorama. In the future, I can see myself buying one of each winter...

Panzer, It could very well have been Scott's work. I do not remember the vendor's name. That rocket sure looks familiar though... TPark, I am not familiar with the California show but I'll bet they would have what you are seeking. It's great being able to see first hand to eyeball the various produ...

ketelone, Regarding the Toy Soldier Show held in the Chicago area, were there many vendors for armors? The show is coming to Los Angeles in March 6th. I am mostly interested in armors, military planes and diorama (toy soldiers, not so much). Do you think it would be worth it for me to attend the sho...

BTW. Where did you get the Panther for $11.99? It took me forever to find this Panther and I had to pay premium for it

Re: 1 /72 armor prices
When Hobby Master had strict MAP policy, all AFVs were sold $18-$22 range. Recently, some slow selling old models were allowed to be on sale. In the future, seeing AFVs in $14 will not be a norm. It’s just supply and demand. There are many collectors who are willing to pay premium for Hobby Master A...

I have not seen any of those Pumas up close. But, from looking at hundreds of 1/72 AFVs, I would always go with Hobby Master first . For quality, details and “crispness,” you will not be disappointed with Hobby Master.

Re: Anyone ever buy from Toy Headquarters?
About 3 years ago, numerous times, I have ordered FOV 1:32 AFVs from them. Back then, they had one of the cheapest price for FOV items. Their shipping cost was somewhat expensive. The site was down for about a year, and it came back on line recently. Their price is no longer (to me) enticing. But, t...

I know nothing about war gaming. But, I am going to try help about 1/72 scale. Regarding soldiers and civilians, you may want to try “Preiser.” http://www.rocousa.com/preiser.asp They are for train collectors. They offer both painted and non-painted people, buildings, terrains, animals , etc. I beli...

I have never seen this. It says, “ Trade Show Display - WWII & Modern Diorama Settings.” I am guessing that they probably made two, one for the trade show display and another as a backup. It’s interesting. I guess someone would buy it for display purpose only. It is definitely a limited production
