Re: new 1/72 IST/Odin diecast models

The old Matchbox toolings, such as the P-38, F4U, F6F and P-40E, for example, still stand up quite well today. I'd be delighted to see some more P-38 schemes, hopefully without those rocket trees, if someone would release models based on the Matchbox molds. I'm not so sure I can say the same about ...

Hey, HM listened to me as well! I've been telling them they need to do a JS-2 in 1/72, and finally announced one!

About time !

So, what you guys are saying is that there still is no US distributor or retailer for the Altaya line? Those guys must have something against making profits. yes war master and blitz72 are the USA names Those companies are not rereleasing the same vehicles that were out under the Altaya brand. Alta...

Re: Dragon is going to do Neubaufahrzeug in 1/72

As I recall my readings on the subject, weren't these retro looking tanks made in some sort of soft metal, making them far from combat worthy and didn't the Germans send the lot to Norway for a propaganda picture shoot, then retire them permanently? I think that is basically it. One was destroyed i...

Would have preferred the Sturmpanzer IV that they announced 6 years ago, but whatever.

Maybe they'll do 6 different paint variant of it, since only like 3 were made?

So you started a new thread to say you don't have any information about the topic, and won't have any until FOV announces their 2012 product line in 2012?

Gotcha! :D

Hellcat...YES!!!

And someone needs to tell them that they should look at getting into 1/144 WWI aircraft. Nexus/Ares Games has done very well in that era, and there's a big Wings of War market that needs to be fed.

Re: New K&C WWI Albatros

I think it has something to do with the cheap molds they use. They aren't using long-life metal molds like they do with diecast, they use those flexi molds for resin. They are only good for hundreds of casts, not thousands.

New cheap 1/72 FOV tanks?

I noticed some retailers listing Fall '11 releases of new and retooled FOV 72 armor. US truck Pz III M3A1 halftrack w/stowage. Maybe something else. Anyway, its interesting as it is priced at under $10. With the recent Hetzer and 38t going for $20, I thought the $10 diecast tank days were over. Anyo...

So it seems the new price for 1:72 FOV pieces is up to about $20 MSRP? That's a big jump from the previous prices of @$13. Anyone know why that is?

I hope that the release of the sd kfz 251/22 means that the 251/9 stummel will be released soon. I might get one of the jeep sets as well. I am just wondering how the jeeps compare with HM's jeep. I love the fact they they are doing a twin pack however. +1 for the 251/9. That's the late w...
