Think of it like daytrading; it is all supply, demand and timing. I have done well with XD trading on the MD exchange. The only loss I've incurred is buying some 1/32 Sherman dozer kits that later fell in price from $7.95 a share to $5.95 a share. I am sure the market will rebound and I can m...

I wonder what their methodology is for pricing. Prices on Migs and 1/32 items seem to fluctuate both up and down by the day, if not the hour. And there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to it as it happens on items that have not gone out of stock. I can see the SS Figure sets as they sell out ...

Yes. The Hellcat. The anti-tank, opened-turret US vehicle. My mistake on the designation model. Didn't the M-41 Walker Bulldog come carded, as well? I think there may have been another vehicle, too. All of them were a different color shade from the original vehicles at TRU. Yes, the Hellcat and Wal...

To echo Tman, the Admiral figure is absolutely horrendous. Being a figure guy you will probably want to cry. Jason has mentioned that they hated doing the figure and would rather have bought and included 21C figures instead! Don't let this turn you off though, the AT 262 is a beauty, especially the ...

This is truly a sign that 21C is dead. I am disappointed MD has created their own "Private Reserve".

My manclave is filling up quickly with MD boxes. I don't know if I want it to stop or not. I just feel like this is the last chance at XD that isn't coming off ebay for big bucks.

What if those damned Mig-15s are worth $300 some day?

Interesting modern jets

I dropped my wife off at the airport so took the long drive up to my favorite hobby shop about 40 miles north of me called American Eagle. They always have great stuff and today did not disappoint. They had a pre-built 1/48 F-16 and 1/72 SU-34 that were put out by a nameless company; the box said "m...

Re: New Ray Helos

I have the 1/32 Apache sold as a kit under the Testors brand. It's not bad. Exposed screws and no crew, but there's not much else available in 1/32. You can still find these at Michael's craft stores. Ditto, this is where I bought mine. With some paint, decals and weathering it doesn't look too bad...
