Instead of harassing him on your high horse, why don't you ask where he found the reference and if he has a picture of it to share. Just say it looks unique and you've never seen it before. He could just have made the dots too big for the ambush pattern. It's honestly not THAT bad looking. No worse than the octopus camo schemes from the late war. How come you didn't just make the bottom of the turret baskets a round bar and integrate the clips into the turret itself, that way it could swing open and closed? I know it compromises the accuracy of the piece, but i think the opening and closing turret would make up for it.
