Well, I got mine yesterday and I have to say it looks quite good. I like the paint scheme (although it's not right for the number on the tank) and think this version looks better than the first. I'm pleased with my purchase and I really enjoy the detail on the tank (I don't even mind the mud/dirt on...

My local Wal-Mart has one Panzer IV, but I'm holding out for the next one so I can look up its "skirts." The tank, that is!

That is a rather high price, so I guess I'll wait until the later USA-produced ones have the skirts.

I just think the skirts look really neat and help give the Panzer IV "that look," if you know what I mean.

"New" 1:16 Tiger II

Guys,

I've been away for a while so excuse me if I raise a topic that's been discussed before.

What are the general opinions of the 2005 version of the 1:16 King Tiger? Did the manufacturer address some of the problems that we saw with the first version of the Tiger II? Thanks a bunch!

I asked about the rear-view mirror a while back, and essentially concluded that they were not standard on the bubble-tops. About a week or so ago, however, I was watching The History Channel and saw a show dealing with the P-51. Lo and behold, one of the birds in part of the footage (a P-51D) had a ...

Guys,

Just got back from my long holiday and have been snowed under at work, but now I have some time....

Yep, that Panzer IV looks great! And, yes, I'd say the "L" is for Panzer Lehr.

Now, who has the best price on this beauty?

I'm tempted to pay you to paint one for me (as I've gotten older and lazier)!!

Again, top-notch work.

Lo and behold, what did I hear this morning in an e-mail? "Eileen" will be sent to me, too. I forgot about that one.

Jackpot!

I agree: it's only when the police come knocking that he will realize he's in deep recycled doggie lunch. So far, he thinks he can keep you guys at bay over the phone.
