Oh, lord, that Onwu fella was pretty funny. No effs are given' at this point regarding BadCat. The thread over at fighting118th is long gone, but boy, was that a complete ****show. I had bought several items from there before that whole ordeal went down, but not a dime after that. I mean, hone...

Only a $100 bucks.

Good God, it's like nobody gives a c**p about 1/18 stuff anymore . That last prototype listed sold for $50.

IMO, the scale is dead, if a prototype draws this little interest and sells for honestly chump change, yeah, we're done here.

Re: 1/6 Elite Force F-15C Cockpit and Dragon Pilot?

Granch, I have the George Bush figure but used him as the basis of my Top Gun "Maverick", 1980's aviator since his body is very slim for a Bbi figure. No, his mask is a horrible fit and you know exactly the issue, his chin. I ended up popping off the Bush headsculpt and used the Hot Toys figure head...

Re: 1/6 Elite Force F-15C Cockpit and Dragon Pilot?

Congrats on the F-15 pit. Always wanted one but never pulled the trigger. An absolutely beautiful piece to have in your collection. I collect 1/6 pilots and have an entire display to represent every decade of aviation. Yep, go with the Bbi pilot you won't be disappointed. I remember buying my first ...

Probably had to pay the Bong family serious dough for the license of it.

Then again, the JSI paint department might give Marge a mustache...because you know "it's part of the weathering process"

Re: POST ALL JSE F-14 QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION HERE

I still get a chuckle from the: "Spots are part of the weathering process" bit on Merit's site back in 2009 when showing the factory photos of the Spotcat being assembled in China. We can all laugh about it now, but man, that was a very heated time in 1:18 collecting and yeah, I poked the horn...

Re: 1/6 Hobby Master Bud Anderson figure

I'll be interested only if they fix #1 the helmet, #2 his shoes and #3 the price. That helmet is NOWHERE close in accuracy. It's like a mish-mash of an RAF helmet and the US A-11 flight Helmet. Those earphones are completely wrong in every way, shape or form. If you want to break into the realm of n...

Re: 1/6 Hobby Master Bud Anderson figure

$159..... Jesus christ...I'm glad I'm about done collecting 1/6 figures. Was hoping to see a more reasonable price considering this figure doesn't come with a whole lot of "stuff". Hell, look at the Soldier Story Airborne Normandy figure. That dude comes with an insane amount of gear for $20 cheaper...

Re: 1/6 BBI Elite Force F-15C Cockpit: How much is it worth?

Chris, These originally sold for $125-150 back in the early 2000's. At $430, that's not a bad deal but a bit on the high side. Most of these I've seen going for $400-500+ NIB as they are getting extremely rare and collectors are not parting ways with them. Is it NIB or loose? The 1/6 pilot/aviation ...

FS Feeler: BBI 1/18 Hornet "Golden Dragons"

Hey guys, Looking to part ways with my BBI 1/18 "Golden Dragons" Hornet. I bought this in 2009 while stationed in Iraq. It has been out on display in my man room for the past four years (non smoking). I got wrapped up into the "if you don't have a Hornet you ain't a real collector" frenzy when they ...

Looks pretty good, shame they can't get pilots to put in these things.

I have a Tulip 109, splinter Stuka, 262, but don't know if I'll pick this one up. Still awaiting the Butcher Bird.

Re: merit Announcment

Why not VF-41 Black Aces on the next Tomcat release. "Fast Eagle 102" or "Fast Eagle 107" would be an excellent choice. In 1981, 102 claimed the first Tomcat kill, quickly followed by 107 downing the 2nd. If memory is right, 107 & "Revlon" were a lost few years later. Yep DropTank is absolutely cor...
