Where do you MNer go for your 1/18 needs? F-104 and bunker corsair at Blaine TRU! Well, I visit the TRU in Blaine and Woodbury somewhat regularly but the last couple times I checked I was only able to find some 1/32 FW190D's, a 2 1/18 F-104's at the woodbruy location. Hub Hobby had a few 1/18 plane...

I've seen about three of the flying tigers P-40s at my local TRU. What TRU do you go to? Is there one in Stillwater? If so, where? I have been to the one in Maplewood, and the one in Blaine (northtown mall) and all I can find is two F-104s. There are no TRUs in Stillwater. I also use the maplewood ...

I was actualy joking about the B-25. The P-61 used the Pratt and Whitney R-2800 double wasp engine . The engine that was used in the P-47 Corsair, Hellcat and others. BBI makes one for their Hellcat . This is the same engine that I used in my P-36. But I customized it into a P and W 1830 twin wasp....

Re: 1/18 p-61
Thanks for the help, but I already have a set of enlarged blueprints/templates. I'm more interested in parts such as props and wheels from current 1/18 planes that would be useable. Would the P-47 prop work? I don't think so but if the B-25 ever comes out I think that you can use those. :? But I am...

custom 1/18 P-61
I'm fed up with false promises of a 1/18 multi engined airplane, so I'm building my own-a 1/18 P-61. I plan to scratchbuild it in wooden sections, then mold them. If anybody knows of parts of current 1/18 planes I could use or a better method of building it please post it.

Well, no more time to complain-the tiger's not shown anymore on bcat. That figures, I was actaully considering buying it for $80 compared to what I've seen on ebay
