Got most of what I wanted over the years, including all but one of the Spitfires. The Biggin Hill 610 squadron "DWK", eluded me...the one plane that got away.

21st Century Toys 1:18 Armor Collection Auctions
Hello gents. Auctioning off all my 21st Century Toys 1:18 armor and figures, and a few 1:32 pieces if anyone is interested. Re: Corgi's latest Ju-52 AA36908 Crete
I have two, the minesweeper which doubles for just a cargo plane if you leave the ring off, also like the wheel pants, and the float plane which is quite the marvel. True no opening cargo door but the nicer than usual details of this particular Corgi mold makes it worth having at least one. The mili...

Re: What Is Your Favorite Twin Engine Aircraft ?
There's plenty of twins I'd like to have in a larger scale model like a B-25 or C-47, but I think I would rather have a Grumman Goose, Pre-war, 1941, 1942 etc. military markings. Da plane da plane…

Re: What happened to BBI?
Surely no one has to pay any royalties to a company who formerly made aircraft or armor under the Nazi regime? Maybe a Volkswagen Bug because it was made postwar also in the same way, but a King Tiger tank? Surely not anything made by Mitsubishi or Kawasaki during the war like the Zero or Tony, but ...

You guys forgot the p-40E. Skyworks had a conversion kit for the P-40B Tomahawk, but as of yet none have been done otherwise. Plenty of choices for different ones from different countries who flew them.

Re: Dragon P-47's?
They are outstanding. Like the Mustang I think they have more detail than any 1:48 versions. All the fiddly bits you can use a little white glue to hold them in place. The bubble tops have sliding canopies. The razorbacks have optional opened canopy. The Eagleston and Gabreski are hard to find now. ...

I bought one Corgi. The Dragon Warbirds is the only other option I know of.
There's one or two that are the early versions A-3 through 5 with non typical camouflage.

Can't remember exactly but I know I paid around $25 for mine plus shipping.
The one you're getting may be more desirable though and higher priced.

Re: Corgi Bird Cage Corsair
I've got one "Marines Dream" Typical old school Corgi with the trench lines and gaps. Cowling flaps permanently open, but it's the only birdcage corsair available in 1:72 I do believe. I pre-ordered the 1:48 Ken Walsh from HM just to have one that is a little more refined, though some don't like the...

Used to when I was young quite a bit, but not now so I voted no. I'm also a one of these days guys, just don't have the time right now. Unless you count the partial assembly pre-painted types like the gashapon 1:144 which do require some assembly and decals etc., but it's not the same thing as gluei...

Re: Anyone have any of the Easy Model F4F Wildcats?
I think they are one of the better Easy Models. Only bought one so far. Have quite a few Dragon Warbirds F4F's, which are the bees knees. Surprisingly they never made an O'Hare Wildcat, so EM it is. https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/479x359q90/910/aNdK3z.jpg It would've been nice to inspect it befor...

Isn't the Doyusha A5M an exception to the other Easy Model types, or is it a kit? Never seen one by EM or I'd have bought it at the lower price. Kinda expensive. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Type-96-2-Fighter-2nd-A5M2b-Doyusha-1-72-Plastic-model-Doyusha-/252297793852?hash=item3abe1ed13c:g:I2cAAOSwUuFWzNb...

Re: New Hobby Master F-14 Available
If I'm not mistaken this is the Century Wings Tomcat tooling. :?: HM is addressing the gaps on the fuselage on the second release. I pre-ordered the second release. My first 1:72 die cast Tomcat. The recent release Century Wings F-14 is pretty gaudy looking, and older releases worth getting have gon...

Re: Oxford making a Supermarine Walrus
This is an interesting release. Think I'd like to get one to go with my other planes in similar FAA colors. Didn't know it was a pre-war version? but at least in camouflage. Not too keen on the over all silver pre-war Brit aircraft. The Oxford top profile shows no insignia on the wings, yet in C44's...

Re: Can i use this to refuel my British airplanes?
Looks like the 1:76 Airfix kit has both types of trucks. I wonder how the 1:72 Hobby Master RAF refueling truck would look next to the Oxford in size difference? I have seen it go for reasonable prices. I managed to track down after all this time the olive drab 1:72 CDC Armour US fuel truck for the ...

Re: Corgi Announces a BF-109E and P-40B
This is good news. Particularly the P-40. Plenty of Corgi Emils, but I could buy more. Likely the Brits will be getting some liveries on this American warbird before we ever see a Taylor and Welch. Which is understandable because they fought with it first in North Africa. Nice looking desert birds s...

Saw the Spruce Goose when she was in Long Beach 8) thought they took her to Oregon or something. I really don't see something like a B-25 being a problem. Whether it is marketable these days who knows? I used to own many 1:6 vehicles and the White Scout car was in a very long box, huge by toy standa...

Where are these rumored $79 HM Hellcats? I must know. I just paid $103 off eBay for mine and I would be game for another at a $79 price point. -Kevin If I'm not mistaken Collectablejets.com was bought out by Diecastairplane.com which led to sale on most of the HM 1/32 Hellcats, is what I read on an...
