FOV T-34??

Has anyone purchased this vehicle? I am strongly considering it, but have a few questions first. What are the features, and which hatches, exactly, are the ones that open? Is there anything else unique about this model when compared to other FOV tanks? Thanks for your help!

Not a Veteran, but...

Wish I was one, though! Being in the armed forces was always an unrealized dream of mine, but due to some physical defects (aka somewhat bad eyesight and a few other things) the military wouldn't accept me. I have come to realize that collecting XD may on some subliminal level be a way that I compen...

Fresno, CA area

The last I checked around there before moving back to Los Angeles for school (about 3 weeks ago) there were plenty of XD Winter Tigers to be had along with a few FW-190s of both types. My local Hobbytown USA store was fully stocked with 1-2 examples of most XD aircraft and vehicles currently avaliab...

I wonder what the GERMANS think of all this... You're probably right, its just some pinhead that wants to feel important by making others look bad. I guess that the best way to sell things (say German XD vehicles or figures) would be just to leave out any reference to the country of origin. I wonder...

I would go with the Blue Angels F-18, or perhaps wait for a Thunderbirds F-16. I think a Mosquito and especially a B-25 will be longshots concerning 21st.

Haven't attempted that yet, though if done correctly it would be cool! I once thought about getting an XD plane for cheap at WM (one that can easily be replaced) and attempting to hit it at the right angle with a shotgun blast (from relatively long range so there is more scatter from the pellets) to...

Planes to never be made in 1:18 scale

At this point, the Zero would be a good candidate... However, to stay on topic, here's my list: Any WWI Plane (at this point) Japanese "Val" Divebomber Japanese "George" fighterplane ME-163 Komet TA-163 Volksjager fighterplane Focke-Wulf TA-183 Jet fighter Horten Flying Wing Arado Ar-555 Medium Jet ...

New XD Planes

The ME-262 has already reached prototype stage, or so we saw last year. Given that 21st has already made one for the 32x line (the nicest plane in their smaller-scale aircraft series, in my opinion) it does not seem to be that illogical of a step for a new plane. Seeing that 21st is also making a Bu...

Teamski - Is it possible you could send me your e-mail address? I have several pictures you may want to add to your XD/BBI Profiles Webshots page, including illustrated profiles of the NKK Spitfire, color photo of the actual "Lou IV" P-51, and another photo of Kepford's Corsair. If you would rather,...

The larger B-52 made by Corgi is 1/144 scale. 1/400 would be a good guess since the smaller B-52 seems to be scale with some of my brother's 1/400 scale comercial aircraft models.

New Matchbox Planes??

Does anyone remember the post from a while back on the old GPXD 1:32 scale forum that showed pictures of the new Matchbox Collectibles F-100 (cammo paintjob) and F-104 (NASA markings)? Have these started to appear at Target stores yet? Thanks.

Fishing Line

I used 20lb test line to begin with and when the spool ran out, used 10lb. Neither has given me any problems, though I always make sure to tie a double knot. I usually hang a plane from one medium-sized eyehook, with two loops of fishingline. For larger aircraft, I use either a large eyehook or two ...

Blue Angels F-18

I swore that I wouldn't cave in and get the BBI F-18 (for size considerations only), however, being a Blue Angels fan as long as I can remember, this is just getting too tempting! I also agree with a previous post, a Thunderbirds F-16 is the next step. Now, to those of you who will purchase one or m...

I wonder if BBI will have improved struts on the new F-16? It seems like this is a problem that needs to be corrected as the design level.

Very cool to see that BBI is entering the WWII market. Perhaps some of the "other goodies" we have heard about will be the P-51 BBI is rumored to be making... BF-109 Nightfighter

OK, so how many versions of the 109 is it for the past 12 months? Four? Lets see, there was the winter version, the galland version, the night fighter and now the desert one. Thats a pretty good run for a plane 21st traditionally hasn't made many repaints of! I'm more than satisfied with my first se...

A diecast Sherman in the new colors would be nice, but I won't mind if its plastic. I'm just happy we get a chance at another one that has a decent, standard paintjob and that is going to the small retailers so that we don't have to deal with the Wal Mart distribution!

Cant say anything about the Halftrack, but when comparing other FOV Action and Enthusiast vehicles, the Enthusiast usually come with more accessories and have better weathering.
