Re: Remote on/off switch

Mike I'm too uncool to unnerstan...? I was bit confused too. I'm guessing a leaf blower,, it'll certainly make the propellers spin. I think a manual switch would be easiest, or maybe an infrared remote. LEGO uses an infrared remote for their trains. The problem will be the mild ongoing current drai...

Re: Never seen this Panther before!

Where are our tank experts? I have a sandy/desert Tiger, but it was custom job. The bottom figure always reminded me of Gomer Pyle for some reason - but I do see Karl Malden's looks as well. Nice job!!! Got anymore? Who was the guy that always made the pics with different scale figures interacting ...

Re: Never seen this Panther before!

There'e this thread that mentions a 101, but I think it's 1/32 and a different camo. http://www.warbird-photos.com/gpxd/viewtopic.php?t=27257&p=273788 I'm still suspicious. They also have an open model for the product photos and six available. Most likely, they're every bit as good. Looks good minus...

Re: New BBi

What about an ME-163 Komet in 1:18 ??? :D That's certainly one I would be interested in. From a business/manufacturing perspective it probably makes sense too. The ME-163 is a small, simple plane, but popular. I would guess the investment to produce it would be low and unit sales would be comparabl...

Re: OURWAR WW2 Germans on the way to US!

The more I see of these figures, the less I like them. Shame. I was thinking the same thing. They're built like WWE wrestling figures with forearms the size of legs. I don't care for the short sleeves. Really highlights the robot like joints. Could use some flat clear spray. Way too shiney like mol...

Sorry about all typos earlier. Crazy, hectic morning.

Love the photos, you got some nice focal lengths and depth of field that made some very convincing shots. What are you shooting with?

1958Zelda, pickelhaube, I am so appreciative your skills and talents. And thanks for all the progress reports throughout the project. You've brought fulfillment to the 9 or 10 year saga of acquiring a 1/18 King Tiger for so many of us. A dream come true. Thank you. Hopefully, I was a good customer. ...

Re: New 1:18 Mustangs

i'm repeating myself, but when it comes to the repaints of the Mustang, I'm reminded of Monty Python's Dennis Moore skit, especially the point where everyone reaches their lupins saturation point. Just substitute "Mustang repaints" for lupins.

Re: 1/35 Dragon Figure Question

I've been hesitant to leave the Dragon/Can-Do panzer crew displayed on any tanks. They seem to be a little sticky. I don't know if that is the paint or rubbery/plastic material they are made with outgassing chemicals. Concerned they are either going to pull up tank paint or leave their on paint on t...

Re: anyone have the Dragon 1/72 Saturn V prebuilt model?

Like has been mentioned, reviews have been pretty positive, with only a few minor complaints. Like Tman, I was tempted to get this myself, but feared it would just tower in a corner. It certainly is big and impressive. Really comes to life when displayed in an Ikea Detolf cabinet, with additional l...

Re: What do you guys think about my customs videos?

I enjoy the videos, always value photos for their immediacy. I think I missed the post for the Panther video or was too busy at work to have the time to see the post. Even though the videos are mostly still images, the panning and zooming does seem to help draw attention to a lot of the special deta...

Re: New 1:18 Planes & Cannons from China!

On the RC tanks, the two of them look like an Abrams turret and upper hull on a Panzer IV suspension and a 50 cal. on the Panzer IV with M26 Pershing styled skirts? I've got an old 90's RC tank that is a low detail Abrams turret on top with another tank's suspension. Can't stand to look at it, but i...
