Re: 21st Century Toys Mourning/Cry Room.
Why is Walmart the big evil destructor or 21C? I mean wasnt 21C run by adults and didnt they learn from thier relationship with TRU back in the 1/6th days. No dont blame Walmart for the demise of 21C.... Blame 21C It's not nearly as cut and dried as some might think. It's all about volume and value...

Re: 21st Century Toys Mourning/Cry Room.
Good old 21c! Without them I doubt we have ever seen the many many MANY products that we have. Competors came on only after seeing the success and demand for realistic military toys. Did 21c and Walmart create the "problem" of us "expecting" low price models at a great value? Absolutely! They are in...

Re: 1/18 Ho-229 PreOrder Till Oct 31 ! RTV is Here! Paymen
Hey Pickel- I'm down for one of these bad boys! Question: You know I am going to enjoy painting mine so I'm inclined to want to go the Kit route however I really don't want to build it... Is the Kit complicated and going to require lots of filling, sanding, gluing etc? If so, is it logical to reques...

Re: New Merit 1/18 DAUNTLESS DISCUSSION
I'm guessing a $170 - $ 200 price point. Cost of building product from China has skyrocketed in the past 3 years so no matter what scale or even what distribution model is considered, these things are costing more these days.

Re: Tamiya Spray Lacquer
This has actually been going on for a long time now. I bumped into it last March when I ran out of flat clear and went to pick more up at the local shop only to find out that it and the surface primers were sold out. I did a sweep of all the hobby stores and nada... Next I went on-line domestic and ...

Re: All-Go announces 1/32 aircraft releases updated new pics
Hi everyone, I had a chance to talk briefly with the CEO of AllGo this weekend. I asked him specifically about the releases of these 1:32 planes. Here is what I got from our conversation. 1. Are these planes new planes or old stock? A: These are new / freshly minted aircraft. There were no overstock...

Re: All-Go announces 1/32 aircraft releases updated new pics
I was also curious to see what the package design was going to be. I had been working with AllGo to develop a new design for 1:18. This was back when the P-51 was going to release. I had hoped that it would have been a reduced 1:32 scale version. As for no pilot- it just baffles me... It's not a com...

Re: AllGo is all go!
Everyone makes good points here. We have all waited and been teased by the entry / return of AllGo, and we all just want to start seeing the products in our collections. Timing these past couple years- have been uber tricky! Costs to produce these items overseas have literally skyrocketed from years...

Re: AllGo is all go!
Its been almost 2 years waiting on AllGo with no pieces produced under that name to date. Doubts are 100% understood and frankly deserved. This re-release is a nice token start but by no means guarantees the resurrection of the glory days. (which we all agree are long gone and likely never to return...

AllGo is all go!
I received communication late this week that the re-release of the 1:32 scale Red 19 Fw-190 was finally ready and would start shipping as soon as this wednesday. Also mentioned in the email were plans for additional aircraft, new molds and 1:18. No detail were given- but the tone was more upbeat and...

Re: 1/18 JSI F-14A Black Knight the shipping box (need info)
The outer shipping box (the brown ones) are the same for both the Black Knights and the Jolly Rogers I believe. The product box (the black knights box) is the unique box that is inside the outer shipping box (the brown cardboard)... So essentially you get 2 boxes when you purchase the plane and when...

Re: SkyWorksToys Special Announcement
I have not heard anything about the A-10 from the allgo camp in quite sometime. That can mean anything really. But my money is on not getting an allgo A-10 and at the moment it looks more and more like no A-10 sold through skyworks. Where the prototype is and it's current condition is anyone's guess...

Re: ANOTHER DESERT 109E AND TENDER TERROR SHELL ON EBAY
The seller is indeed connected with old 21c management. Both planes are legit. The tan 109 is the last one they own. They had 2 left after selling the others. I got1 and they kept the last. There were a handful of tender terror shell planes that were factory produced and never completed by hand by r...

Re: New F-104 Repaint Scheme
I remember hearing that the driving decisions on the F-104 was that it was striking, iconic and served with many nations. So paint schemes were plentiful. Also the tail assembly made it really easy and inexpensive to do variants. the short wingspan and straight forward build made it an easy and inex...

It still looks like the nose gear can be "plug and play" and allow for the gear doors to close so... I LOVE the option to display this one on it's gear or in flight! -YES? Am I seeing that right Pickel? Looking very sweet! Excited to have one of these.

Here is my 6063 sister ship. I have seen this one modeled before with white wings and with the natural metal skin... I think the white is actually more accurate but I couldn't resist the look of the metal wings. http://i434.photobucket.com/albums/qq61/tko211/X1photo3.jpg http://i434.photobucket.com/...
