Looks like 21C gave me a whole new reason to continue my armor collection............. NOT. For cryin' out loud, 90 bucks? Pre-order price? Are you kidding me? I agree, production costs have gone up, but this is a kick in the beans. Sad thing is, even less of the KT will be diecast than the Tiger wa...

Does the GWS A-10 glider include the engine pods? I assume it does, just minus the fans. X-Flight does have a lot of cool stuff, I especially like their F-15, although I am unsure of its scale, and whether or not it is a C or E version. Did you get the Airbus from X-Flight? How close to 1/18 scale i...

Lots of r/c modern jets show various types of mis-proportioning for the same reasons. R/c SR'71's, F-117's etc will probably never be correctly proportioned. I've noticed that. Kinda like the F-16 I have seen that looks like it has a set of wings from a U-2. My guess is that the best proportioned f...

The new pics show a much lighter canopy. It looks far better, and the overall appearance of the plane looks fantastic. I may have to pick one of these up once they become available. Now if someone would just build a good looking F-22 foamie in 1/18 scale. There are a few out there but their dimensio...

Hmmmm...... that tread on the other board was pretty active, then for some reason it got REAL quiet, REAL quick. :| I agree Tman, your post was absolutely necessary, especially now that we know that SB is OK, and that he actually chose to screw our fellow board members out of his end of the deal. I guess I'm sort of backwards...... I started as a kid collecting boats and ships. Growing up on the water obviously had a lot to do with that, but where on the water I grew up had a lot to do with my fascination with planes as well. Growing up on the southern Chesapeake Bay, I spent my childhood da...

Well, you're almost right.

You know that big 'ol 120mm, smooth bore gun that gives the M-1 its punch? Yep, it's a German design.

Thanks grunt1, nice work. So am I correct in the understanding that the M240 in your pics is a bbi item? If so, do you recall which figure it was included with?

M240B in 1/18 scale?

Could anyone tell me which, if any of the FOV or bbi modern figures included the M240B or any other M240 MG variant? Is there anyone that produces 1/18 scale weapons that may have a M240B? I'm looking to score a couple for a custom project I am working on.

Thanks!

I've just finished the drawings for mine too. Problem is, my wife brought up another subject that would be great for this contest, so now I'm torn. I may just end up building both and see which one I like better. BTW, I have just completed my research on the second subject, so in a sense, it too is ...

As anti-1/32 scale as I am, I agree that modern subjects would be a winner in this scale. As stated before, due to the large size of the 1/1 aircraft, 1/32 jets would still work out to be as big or slightly larger than most of their WWII counterparts that have been produced in 1/18 scale. The WOW fa...

Although the box art is cool, the P-40 is one of the worst 1:18 aircraft molds ever (next to the original Mustang) Wish it was of the quality and caliber of the Spitfire and BF-109G. How true. As mountain-man noted above, the 1/48 scale version is far more accurate than the 1/18 version. What the h...

I am a 1/18 scale fan. I do have some 1/48 scale models (I used to build these exclusively) of some subjects I know I'll never see in 1/18, but nothing compares to the WOW-factor of 1/18 scale models. 1/32 is great, if only for the variety of subjects available in this scale. Unfortunately, I haven'...
