Yep. No indication on mine. The first run with no snorkle and no crew was diecast. There was a subsequent run that was all plastic. The only way to tell would be either to physicaly check it, or perhaps be able to tell the difference in color if still in the box.

S2 had a diecast upper hull, no snorkle and no crew. I have two at home, one of which is represented in my Photobucket Small Scales album.

I already have the link saved as a favorite. I'm just hoping that wasn't the last of the "There they are! Wait! No they're not." cycles. Bet the damn things show up after I hit the rack.

Anybody know if their inventory updates throughout the weekend?

I hadn't been by the forum for a month or so, and this was one of the first threads I clicked on today. 88s for $40? Whoooo!

Then I click the link. Out of stock. I think I'm gonna throw up. :(

Ya mean a chain gun or a minigun? The smallest chain gun I'm aware of is the 25mm Bushmaster utilized by the LAV-25 and Bradley. No way in hell would that be hand held (unless while being disassembled  )

I have to agree that this bird is begging for a retool. A P-40F would work since it wouldn't require lengthening the fuselage.

I admire you guys' determination. I personally wasn't planning on having the rear doors functional. Being neck deep with my Tiger custom has cooled my enthusiasm for 'extra' levels of detail. Nice to have, but more fuss than required to gain the proper apperance.

Good luck to ya fellas. 8)

Indeed. Seems like the blisters should be fairly easy to do with sheet styrene. Are there any issues with the hood to front vision port plate angle, or the width of that plate?

Also, do you have any measurements, such as overall length, or do you know of a good source to find them?

Topic pretty much says it all. I was looking at a spare Hanomag and it appears as though a conversion wouldn't require too much intellect. At least, more than I possess. 8)

Anyone done the math on something like this?

Well, if a complete set of early roadwheels are forthcoming, it would be a great benefit to me. They would be designed with the 21C Tiger in mind, making them much easier to assemble than trying to take apart 2 FOV Tigers and modifying those road wheels. Let's say 2 FOV Tigers would be in the neighb...
