I am a big fan of both the B and the Komet. They certainly have my support.

They are all hungry now to make something when before they were too chicken because they thought they were gonna get scooped by the competition? Oy--my head hurts!

Have any of you guys bought the 32x scale flatbed and jeep that have been advertised on the molitary channel? It is off of militaryflatbed.com. Just wanted to know what you guys thought if you had one. Is it worth buying?

I really think we will see a Komet from Pegasus before the end of the year--Call it a gut feeling.

Well, before I drop the axe, I am going to wait and see what the final word is. Some airplane vendors have MSRPs (or list prices) that seem sky high. So, I am hoping this is a similar situation. 60 to 70 is high, but I can deal. A c-note will require more contemplation before a purchase.

I have to concur--AT has never let me down in the quality control department.

I am a big fan of collecting 1:1 militaria. I am really into AAF patches and US medal groups. But, I have collect planes for a long while. I built 1:48 as a kid. I started to get into RC as a teen. But, I am really digging the 32x and XD. I will probably keep buying it as long as they make it.

I like the rudder detail real well. It reminds me of 1930s Air Corps liveries. The only thing that really bugs me is the spinner. So, I hung it from the ceiling to look like it is looping

Flytiger why are you knocking Gentile's B-mount? I got to support the hometown hero. That is probably the first B I would buy.

The only thing that isn't there for me is selection. The cost is about the same, and the detail is on par. Plus, you have more room to buy more of it. I do XD, but I used to hang the 1/48 scale airplanes I would build from my classroom ceiling. Then, 32x had more and more airframes, and my time to build models decreases steadily. Yeah, the 50 I spent on flowers would have been nice to spend on a couple of new planes.

I like both scales for planes, but only XD for figs and armor.

I was checking the TF website, I found AT and 21st--but I did not see Merit/bbi. BTW, 21st has a good size booth.

When I think of Beglium, Leffe is the first thing to come to mind.
