Thanks for the tips. I wanted to avoid having to re-paint the entire plane so this past weekend I bought some silver paint, fine paint brush and a set of water colors paints. I have flaked the worn areas with silver on the Zero so far and now I am working on aging/weathering it with the water colors...

Do you know what the deck would look like for elevator bay or where they constructed in the same manner?

I am wanting to display some of my 21st 1:32 Zeros in my collections but would like to give them a more realistic look to them. I have read some posting on using Alclad or Tester's Metalizer paints to give them a metal wear/tear to them. Does anyone have other suggestions on a simple techniques?

Here in the North Dallas area among five WMs, they have the S1-S3 1/32 Zeros, Ridge Runner, Wasp Me109 & S1-S3 Macchis but in limited numbers (4-5 per store). As well I have seen 1 German 104 1/18, 5 1/18 109 and a total of 4 Ridge Runner 1/18. My next purchase - 1/18 Ridge Runner.

Went to a 3rd WM today and found the same - Zero S1 & S2, 202 S1 & S2 and 109 WASP,Ridge Runner P51 and black P47. As well found the 1/18 P51 - 4 total. Still on the hunt for Zero S2 & 202 S2.

I travel alot for my job and always on the lookout for adding to my 1/32 collection. I noticed when I was in Greenville, SC area this week that WMs there have the new P-51 RidgeRunner, P-47s and new 109s. No Zeros or Macchis. It appears that the west coast are getting a bigger lots of Zeros & Macchi...

I am new to this forum but a man on a mission! I am always looking for 1/6 AH-6 Little Bird Helicopters. I know that they have been out of production for some time and I have looked on ebay. I was wondering if there are any other sources out there for these birds?
