Thanks, Digger. The released Spitfire is the Mk IIa from the 71th RAF Squadron (August/September 1941) http://www.btinternet.com/~lee_mail/71.html . The Spitfire on the box picture (with "NK" code) is the 118 Sq Mk IIa (1941, too). So, both of them are not the Battle of Britain planes. This is proba...

This is interesting. 20 votes and so far nobody has voted for the French plane, which isn't surprising. What is surprising is we have not one vote for the Hellcat, or the Hurricane. And no one has voted for the Mosquito!?! What's up with that? I thought the Mosquito was a popular plane. Wow! :o :o ...

Thanks for the photos! Well, I have to buy this Sherman. The turret looks very nice. I want to replace it by the regular earlier mold and put the new one on the chassis of my one-part-nosed 21CT Sherman. I will be going to made a real M4 Firefly (Mk. Ic). Could you tell me if the rear part of the ra...

Wojtek - a Hero of the WW II.

A bear called Wojtek who served in the Polish 2nd Corps during the WW II will be commemorated with the monument in Edinburgh (maybe).

So now that you've voted care to take a guess at the bird? I am going out on a limb and say it will be a British Spitfire. I know both FOV and Corgi make one but I think 21C knows these will sell, and can make them in plenty of different models and schemes. The only thing with British birds is they...

Modified questions: How many blades - two or three? Open or closed cockpit? High-wing or low-wing? Retractable main gear or not? Polish? If: two-blade prop, open cockpit, high-wing, not retractable gear and Polish, it will be a PZL P.11c! If low-wing and closed cockpit - a PZL-23 Karas. Well, I know...

Now I'm not sure it will be a Spitfire... It can be a Hurricane Mk Ia. If yes, I suggest to make the entire 303 Squadron from the time of the Battle of Britain. It would be great!

It is one of my favorite war movies. The tank scenes are really both realistic and funny! Remember it was 1970; I wonder you could show another movie from that time with real Shermans and quasi-real Tigers.

All right, if you want something really  difficult - here you are... 1. Well, you start to buy the 1/18 scale models and when you realize there is no more place in your house, you have to change the scale first to 1/32, then to 1/48, 1/72, 1/144, 1/350, 1/700 etc.

Of course, you can start from 1/6.

1) Howitzer Shermans - They were ALL on the newer 47 degree hull front - except for one prototype vehicle. No matter who used them or where, they all left the factory with late production features. I have several thousand Sherman photos and haven't ever seen any structural variation in the assault ...
