MG-42:

Two questions about the FOV Sherman:

1. Is $19.99 the regular price or "clearance" price?
2. Can you post a review and photos of it?...(if you bought it)

RAZOR17019:

I thought all the lower FOV prices were "clearance" prices---including the LAV bought by STUKA. If that's true, then if STUKA got his money back, can the rest of us who paid full price also get our money back?

Hopefully, STUKA can clarify to us how he got his money back.

KILLERF6: I've seen the 21st Century P-47s online . When I was a kid, I had a neat Revell 1/72 P-47D that had the same paint scheme as 21st Century's "Eileen"---green with the checkered nose. From what I've read, Eileen had paint flaws...and probably other flaws, too, based on my experience with the...

VMF214:

Thanks for the info.

That sounds bad for 1/32 F-4 repaints and entirely new 1/18 planes.

BBI has US WWII fighter planes well-covered with repaints of the P-51, F4U and F6F already released. That leaves the P-47---I would love to see a 1/18 Gabreski P-47D.

OLIFANT: I'm curious about Target and BBI. On Target.com, BBI figures aren't on sale, but the Donald Duck P-51 and Abrams tank are on sale. If Target is trying to get rid of BBI, I would think they would have all the BBI stuff on sale. If Target isn't dropping BBI, I hope they more F-16s in. I think...

BBI new planes and repaint schedule?

Two questions about new BBI planes:

1. How often does BBI release entirely new planes and repaints?
2. Is there a particular time of year when new stuff and repaints are released?

I would prefer a 1/32 BBI F-4 because a 1/18 would be too big. I saw on Badcat's site that a BBI F-4J customer review said he wanted a USAF version of the BBI F-4, too. I assume Badcat is getting more requests like that one and would pass it on to BBI. I think Badcat probably has clout with BBI. As ...

Tom Hanks---model airplane, WW II buff

I once read an interview with Rita Wilson, Mrs. Tom Hanks, in which she said when Hanks was a kid, he was a model airplane maniac. Since most model maniacs don't really outgrow it and now that he's a multi-millionaire and still a World War II maniac, I wonder what type of replicas he might have. Sin...

GOOGLYDOOGLY: I haven't seen SAVING PRIVATE RYAN in awhile, but I assume the Tiger is aconverted T-34 like in KELLY'S HEROES and BAND OF BROTHERS. I found one FOV Tiger at a Houston Target. They also had about six Bradleys and no Abrams. The Tiger looked like toyish so I didn't buy it.

They had about a dozen BBI Hummers, one LAV, other vehicles and no BBI Abrams.

I'd like to see BBI do a 1/32 F-15C from Desert Storm with one Iraqi kill painted on the side...and an operational F-22.

I'd said this before, but I hope BBI releases a 1/32 Steve Ritchie F-4D and beats 21st Century to the punch. A 1/18 F-4 is too big.
