... I was also surprised that Pegasus did do a Me-163 Komet, I remember one of our members saying Pegasus felt there was already one being made (skyworks?) so they weren't going to do it. The two I wanted where the Me-163 Komet and the Focke-Wulf Ta-183 Huckebein which Pizzaguy made, both great ...

... military producers like 21st Century Toys, Admiral, BlueBox and JSI along with some of the producers of conversions like that horror story behind Skyworks. It’s a real shame that some of those prototypes and “Future releases” never happened. I was poised and ready for the Phantom, Skyraider, P-51B/C ...

WTB: Skyworks GE-F110 nozzles for JSI F-14

Looking for a set if anyone has ones they wouldn’t mind parting with.

Please no opinions on the nozzles, thanks. :P

Re: Very very nice custom F14s

I remember Military Toy Shop was an exclusive dealer of Skyworks (aka Jack Plonka’s) products. MTS and their staff are good people, just the Skyworks stuff was a bit overrated and certainly overpriced. It is almost certain there are gaffes in the quality ...

Both are ID'd as Skyworks Toys. Have they returned?

Edit:
Never mind, read the description. These were done years ago when the Tomcat was first released. Whew, crisis averted.

That is a fantastic model, Nathan :D It looks so much better than the old Skyworks version and is hopefully an easier build... I had one of the Skyworks kits about 8-10 years ago and it was rather strange... Anyways, I just sent you a PM regarding a full build ...

Well, it's been a few years since the Spotcats came out. I believe Merit bought a few of their large molds but the only A-10 that got close was the prototype Pickelhaube was briefly associated with before the Skyworks asshole stole it.

Can you repost these pics using another hosting site like Imgur or something else. Your photobucket links are now dead and I'd really like to see how this came out because I've got a similar project still waiting for some parts. :?

Looks very nice! I once had a Hobby Master 1/48 scale model of that same plane. And yeah, 21c had a mixture of canopies on their FW190D9s... I'm not entirely sure why, but it may have had to do with some of their specific schemes having the newer "blown" canopy while some had the older design. Howev...

Here she is finally completed. I was actually done a couple weeks back but I noticed one of my Fw-190s had an early version canopy!
