ComicCon and 21st Century
Is 21st Century Toys going to be at ComicCon? My completely uneducated guess is that, if yes, the Avengers will be at ComicCon. They're close? And Tko can smell them? Again, just a guess, but it makes sense (to me at least). Speaking of which, why has no one mentioned ComicCon in the last three week...

Havasu has 'em.
I was at Lake Havasu this weekend, and saw the M113 and the Panzer in RC. The Panzer, from my recollection, looks a lot like the bear Panzer in Teamski's profile page (page 5)-- it definitely had the little white bear on the side. BUT there were no side skirts. Btw--I don't know if we ever figured t...

info
Intreper, from what I remember, I was told at ComicCon that these stands were specially made for the Con. There is not a company that makes them.

Airplane Stands
I really liked the clear airplane stands 21st used at ComicCon, and could easily use ten or so of them. I spoke with Zach about the availability of these stands for purchase, and, as most of us probably know, they aren't for sale. SO, instead of posting this in the ComicCon thread where it might get...

Retooled P51
Digger,
I never said to believe that it will come out in late summer, just that Bad Cat has it on its site.
I'm not that naive. hahahaha!

Retooled P51
Sorry if this is a duplicate post (I haven't had time to be on the forum as much lately), but I saw that the retooled P51 is scheduled for late Summer 05 release at Bad Cat. The paint scheme is still up in the air it sounds like. http://www.badcataviation.com/p1by21ceto.html Please delete this post ...

General Lee
Well, that does definitely look like the Dukes' General Lee, and it definitely looks like it is remote control. I just can't make out the logo on the left side of the poster. It does not look to be a logo for 21st Century Toys to me though. Some company appears to be definitely making it. Just my tw...

F18
Ummm. Sure looks like the black F18 they were trying to sell at last year’s ComicCon for $200, I think it was? Only four made in the world, I was told. And it’s listed as a “new release”? Thank God, I didn’t buy it. I would be kicking myself right now. I meant, I would be kicking myself really hard ...

markings on the side
Haven't taken mine out of the box yet, but anyone notice the scribbles on the side of the truck right next to the middle wheel (in the box). Sorry, that is very descriptive, but its on the outside of the truck. I would think that 21st would actually take the time to get detailed with whatever is sup...

O/T sorta-- Other airplane companies
OK, so the board occasionally gets questions about the differences between figures (21st v. BBi v. Dragon), but I was wondering about some of the different airplane companies like Corgi, Dragon, etc. Specifically, I have been wanting some more modern planes (maybe an F-14, an F-18, and an A-10), but...

Seam in barrel
Digger, I got mine as well last night and noticed a BIG seam in my barrel. I squeezed the two pieces together firmly to see what it should look like. I heard a little snap (like a peg had found its hole), and the seam was almost completely taken care of. I don't know if that will take care of your s...

OT-Recommendation?
OK, so I read in one of these posts that I need to read Jolly Rogers by Blackburn, which apparently is now out of print. I want to start reading a couple more books on the Pacific, as I have been stuck on the Eastern Front lately. :) SO, I was in Barnes and Noble and they had a fairly hefty book cal...

Markings
Thanks shorty--I like to know a little about the history. Even if its from a model. I was most curious about whether BBI made up some of the markings. I just remember being turned off by the name "Cougar Fireball" on the original F-18. Btw centone, I stared at the Sherman the rest of the day at work...

Markings on the Sherman
Anyone have any ideas (or even better, pictures) of where these markings are from? For example, where did the "58" come from?

Yippee!
Just got my sherman from BCA at work, and, man, does it look nice.
I just keep saying wow, wow, wow. I'll assume for the time being that I will continue with that response once it's out of the box. More later once the Sherman has been liberated from the box....
