WOW! Mine looks like the first pictures. Hopefully the wash will alter the appearance as it did yours.

I have the first version(battle of britain). It has a few scratches and is missing the rear glass to house the maching gun. It looks pretty good.

Have you found any examples of such. Would you ever see just a base color, such as a beige color?
There is a book out with a lot of colored tank profiles, and one normandy panzer IV is painted in one single color before being rushed to the front.
thanks for everyone's help

I'm looking for pictures of Pz IVs with normandy camo. Any pictures would be great or links, especially colored pictures.

I decided not to go with historical accuracy, even though I would like to. Removing the dots and everything would be too dificult.

King Tiger-it was worth a shot

I tried painting the FOV king tiger like that seen during the battle of the bulge fighting. Most tigers did not have zimmeret though. Any pointers would be great. The yellow probably needs to be alittle lighter, but I did find pictures of tigers during this battle with the darker yellow. thanks http...

If you scoll down to the bottom of this page you can see the flak gun in a color profile. Unfortunately, you cannot read the caption. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.afrikakorps.org/_photos/MarderIII/PanzerjagerMarderIIIKomIII.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.afrikakorps.org/panzerjagerabt...

I used the same paint as on my PzIV (dunkelgelpb-or something) There is also a desert DAK paint out there with this manufacturer.
I did airbrush and then followed with weathering.
\thanks
