Re: members in lasVegas
Hi nice to see others from vegas that are into 1/18 war stuff ,the reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of selling most of my 1/18 airplanes and would be easier to deal with someone close by, I still need to take individual pictures of each bird and figure a fair price, not looking to gouge anyo...

Re: B 25 Apache Princess
Thank you all for your nice comments, i have a few more things to do to get her to the point that ill stop messing with it, and find a permanent place to show her off and to decide if ill try to put her in the air. I have looked at the foam B-17 that some have mentioned and I may try and pick it up,...

Re: B 25 Apache Princess
yes this b-25 is a bit bigger in scale than 1/18....your calculations look correct at about 1/14 but the pilots look right at home there. Anyone wanting a b-25 closer to 1/18 should look at the Flying Styro one. It's about 1/17 and has a 48 inch wingspan. Great looking model dcmacharlie, really nic...

Re: B 25 Apache Princess
A question -- which may have been answered in other discussions of this model: How scale accurate is it in size and over-all contours? The B 25 has a wing span of 67 feet 6 inch and this model has a wing span of 62 inches so if you take 67 x 12 + 6 you get 810 you devide that by 62 and you get 13.6...

Re: B25 Mitchell Apache Princess
Good work, that's looking great. Excellent idea about the plastic screws as cylinders, I would never have thought of that. Nice workstand, too. Here are a couple of pic of the set up for the engine cylinders with the sprinkler head and screw i used, i cut the screw in half so each one made two cyli...
