Timbo, It is a long shot with the ME 262. For the F-86 it was a simple task of not placing the spray-masking and tampo-prints on the aircraft. The ME 262 really does not have a base color. I guess we could paint them solid light-blue-grey, but this too would be difficult. We would consider this a wh...

JOC,

Do not go off and buy another model. I told you to contact our customer service and we will remedy the situation. Why pay for another model when you are not happy with the first? Unless you like throwing money out the door....

tmanthegreat, You crack me up. I wish yours was the only complaint but we sold a lot more then 200 models. Yours is not the only complaint, but is being taken care of. Furthermore, I think my first number was high. I would estimate that this forum comprises about 75% of questions regarding qua...

Gentlemen, I am sorry that you are having troubles with your landing gear. These posts are the only reports of this problem. I know it is happening, but I assure you it is not a wide spread occurrence. I would not call it a defect in tooling. I would call it an over torque of the screws that hold th...

I can say with absolute certainty that Admiral Toys does not have a night fighter version of the ME 262 in the works, nor have we ever had this version in the works. Therefore, rest assured that there will be no duplication of a night fighter version. Congratulations to 21st Century. From what I hav...

Timbo, You are not kidding. We take opportunities of conflict to mix things up a little. We could have placed the tampo-print for the dash line on this aircraft, but we wanted to make the next paint scheme even that more interesting. We know it was on the next paint scheme, at least we think we know...

Timbo, For this aircraft it is correct, according to some, not according to others. Some model makers and historians show it, and some do not. There is a discrepancy in history on whether the camouflage aircraft all carried the no walk dash markings. We chose not to put it on this aircraft. We have ...

Timbo, I like your idea. I think a vote would be pretty fun. I am not guarantying that the vote will be accepted. I say this because of cost considerations; we may already have something similar in production, etcetera. But I would be interested to see your interests. At the very least I would like ...

I guess this is starting to show. But the industry dictates that a pilot accompany ones offering. As much as...

Here are my suggestions for the front landing gear. :D 1. We did not want to sacrifice detail and make the strut oversized. The ME 262 had a thin front landing gear, and we think it looks better nice and thin. 8) 2. The door that attaches to the strut is connected by two screws. This is one of the s...

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the ME 262s are in our warehouse and will go out this afternoon. We have three UPS trailers being loaded as I type this. If you purchased from one of the retailers that asked us to drop ship for them, you should receive your model early next week....

Ladies and Gentlemen, The ME 262 is in Texas, and we are waiting on customs to clear the model. We bypass customs in California. It takes a much shorter time to clear in Dallas. We have had models held in California for two and half weeks! The models should clear customs tomorrow and be in our facil...

The New York Toy Fair should be fun. Unfortunately you will receive no news until then. However, you will see a repaint here and there before NYTF.

We are working on some things in other scales. The 1:18 scale is not ignored, but slow at this time.

Teamski, The rivets on many of the early war developed aircraft had small raised rivets. Below is a photo of the tail section of the F6F. If you look at past releases by all companies you will see very few raised rivets on the models. Manufacturers will place some accent raised rivets here and there but ...

SAD = (I have no idea!)
Flies = jet
Gillette = Stealth (He said they had one several years ago. Gillette used a Dodge Stealth as their Le Mans racer several year ago. And there is a famous photo of a F-117 flying over Gillette stadium.

Therefore: Stealth Fighter

I know... probably not.
