I think Dragon 's packaging has got confused. The U/i Italy version is, I'm pretty sure, a Panzer Lehr vehicle from Normandy - it looks like a vehicle I've seen pictured knocked out near ST Lo. The Dragon model purporting to be a Panzer Lehr vehicle has SS number plates - Panzer Lehr was a Heer form...

The BTR 80s are very good and I would highly recommend them. However compared to them the Tigers are very crude. Nothing like as good as Dragon or FOV.

Thank you for the pics of the Minchamps Centurion - it look fantastic - looks like a BAOR RTR vehicle. Any idea how "imminent" it may be?

Better start doing some overtime!!

A couple of years ago Target had a number of FOV models that were, I believe, exclusive to them. They included the AAV-7, the LAV-25, the MLRS and the Paladin SPG. Also a Humvee in KFOR markings mounting either a .50 cal or grenade launcher, rather than a TOW and a M901. Eventually most of them appe...

Luftwaffe ground units, such as field divisions, fallschirmjager divisions and the Herman Goring Pz Div would have had on their establishments artillery prime movers with LW plates marked with standard German army tactical symbols.

Motorpool - thanks for the update. After I learned that Minichamps had pulled the early version oft the M-60 I feared for the fate of the T-72 and Centurion. Thank you for the positive news about the T-72. Hopefully the Centurion may make it out early next year. I 'm hoping the Centurion when/if it ...

I live in the UK and it is very frustrating, but very useful, to know what 21st Century is putting out in both 1/18 and 1/32, especially as their releases seem to arrive like bolts from the blue! I have manged, over the years, to aquire some of the 1/18 figures and vehicles but it is difficult to bu...

DRAGON FIREFLY

I attended this event last weekend. The Dragon stall wasn't the most efficently organised as I think they somewhat underestimated the demand. As they only accepted cash I was rather limited as to what I bought - 1 x Firefly and the 1/6 figgure of the tankcrewm who manned it. That cleaned me out of m...

MINICHAMPS T-72

Saw a copy of the latest Minichamps catalogue in London earlier this week. In it there was photo of the latest version of the M-60 (without of course reactive armour) in 1980s camo and also a photo of the forthcoming (no date) T-72. The T-72 looked very nice in the markings of a National Volks Armee...

Where did you purchase your new 1/72 FOVs? The Modelzone here in London has the 1/32 88mm and some of the new repaints but none of the new 1/72s.

I picked up two of the armour models in London last week. They come in reddish/black box labelled "World War II Ground Armor". The model shop (ModelZone) had the JSIII, Pershing and AS90. There would appear to be four paint versions of the JSIII. I got a version used by the Egpytian Army in June 196...
