I must confess I've thought about ordering K & C models direct from the US because of the price difference. I would also like to know why there is such a difference as the K & C models sold in both in the US and UK all come from the same place, ie Hong Kong. The only snag is Her Majesty's Customs & ...

I was at a toy soldier show organised by King & Country UK in central London yesterday. They had all their ranges on display and most impressive they all looked too! Cornwalis's redcoats plus indians advancing on the Continental army. Pharoah riding out in his chariot. The latter is not my period at...

My recommendation would be the Jagdpanther. It's a really magnificent model, especially if you get one or both of the tank rider sets to go with it. Or why not wait a few weeks and get the forthcoming King Tiger? I was at a toy soldier event in central London yesterday organised by King & Country UK...

Yes its an authentic scheme. Its one of the schemes offered for the same version of the T-34 in the 1/35 Dragon kit.

THE RUSSIANS LOOK GREAT

I'm most impressed with K&C's Russian "Fall of Berlin" range. Some great figure poses. The vehicles also look good - particularly theT34 with the improvised anti-Panzerfaust protection of looted german iron bedsteads!

The 1/72 tanks have crew figures - at long last! The 1/32 vehicles, especially the Challenger and Panther, look fantastic. 2005 seems to be shaping up into a great, and expensive year! The Soviets used Lees ("A Grave for Seven brothers") not Grants, the latter were specifically ordered by the Britis...

CANDO POCKET ARMY

I also collect 1/144 models and Cando are excellent. I've just manged to get the new Challenger II & Warrior set and they are superb models. The next set either is a set of Bundeswehr Leopards (1s and A4, A5 and A 6) or WWII Nashorns/Marders. Also World Tank Museum (Takara) are worth looking at. The...

US MARINES

Living in the UK I'm quite envious of you guys who've got access to the new 21st century US Marines. They look most impressive. Full marks to 21st Centry for releasing the figures just in time for the 6oth anniversary of Iwo Jima.

NEW CANDO

I undertand Nashorn/Marder will be the next Cando set. However the Dragon site is showing what might be the set after that - modern German Pz battalion. The set would appear to consist of two Leopard Is, a Leo II A4, a A5 and an A6. A Bundeswehr MLRS completes the collection.

BBI BRITISH TROOPS

I've seen these figures over here in the UK and believe me they are b****y aweful. They bear no resemblance whatsover to current Britsh soldiers. The uniforms, weapons, helmets are all wrong. In fact all BBI did was take the orginal US models and give them a different paint job. I think the idea was...

KING & COUNTRY - FALL OF BERLIN

Thanks for the direction to Sierra's site. The forthcoming Russians look fantastic. Also the Soviets get a T34/85 and a Katuysha. To oppose them the Germans appear to be getting a Puma and a King Tiger (though I would have thought that would be more suitable for the Battle of the Bulge range).

M113 SIGHTINGS

I'm visiting the US from the UK on business next week and I am hoping to try and pick up a M113.

Does anyone have the SKU or any other ref under which Wallmart hold this item?

Any assistance gratefully appreciated.
