HM Aircraft

Hi Guys, I'm not going to come down on either side regarding the proposed P-26 Peashooter. Certainly was an interesting choice and an important addition to any Inter-War period aircraft collection. Having said that, we just conducted a written interview with Mike Granat, the subject of SkyMax Models...

1:18 Scale Aircraft

Hi Guys, We've had these listings up for a long time based upon preliminary information we received from the manufacturer. When last we spoke to them, they were considered "black projects" which in this day and age can mean anything. Frankly, I'm at a loss for words looking over some of your posts. ...

Hind Quarters

Hi, I'd go for a Hind in any scale! I cant believe no one has offered one yet in diecast. Hobby Master was rumored to have one in the wings and Easy Model will purportedly make a plastic one in 1:72 scale. Trouble is, how long will we have to wait until it materializes... Planograms

Hi, Back in the day, part of my job as a merchandise manager was to set up planograms based upon information provided to me by the buyer regarding product availability. It doesnt pay to set up a section if the product isnt expected 6 months hence and all you have is empty pegs during that timeframe....

Stands

Hi,
We havent received any of the stands so I cant really comment on their capabilities. You might want to ask HawkoneVoodoo, who runs the Hobby Master Collector web site, regarding its versatility.

Cordially,

Captured Pilot's WWII Lancaster Model

Hi, I saw this thread on another forum and thought it was interesting enough to post here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/4161917/Captured-WWII-pilots-model-Lancaster-Bomber-is-discovered.html Since Corgi produces a replica of the Lancaster, they might want to think about covering this subje...

Konoike

Hi, Most often the reason why you cant find information on an item such as this is due to a misspelling. Check here for further information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_A6M_Zero_operators Scroll down to "Konoike" for further details. The actual unit that flew this plane was therefore called...

I do know that WM usually sells items itself before the manufacturer has been paid for them. That's pretty much industry standard, at least as far as big box retailers go, unless they've filed for bankruptcy protection. In most cases, the retailer is afforded terms, usually payment within 30 days o...

Hi, I dunno about that. If you've ever watched CNBC's expose on Wal-Mart, first aired a couple of years ago, they tout themselves as having one of the most sophisticated distribution systems ever devised. I think there's just too many variables to consider that will allow you to come up with an answ...

1:32 S2 Schemes

Hi, Its P&L (profit and loss) not PNL. :D In a nutshell, the manufacturer hasnt offered any of the S2 schemes to the hobby shops/ etailers. We'd love to sell them, but they have to be offered to us first. Same goes for the latest 1:144 scale equipment, 1:32 artillery figures, etc. Dont know how thei...

21st Century Toys 88mm Gun

Hi All, I wouldnt paint up those 88s just yet. The manufacturer confirmed that an S2 paint scheme is in the works: field grey. No word as to when it'll be out but our guess is that they'd like their DAK 88 to sell out first before bringing in more inventory. We've also confirmed the retail price on ...

Personally, I'd li...

Motorcycles?

Wow, motorcycles in 1:72 scale!? I think the M8 and M20 will come in at around 2.66 inches. A motorcycle would probably be half that in size. Sure would be nice, but I'm not certain if its within the realm of feasibility.

Hi Itcbj, I hear where you're coming from. Frankly, I agree, but we have to base our retail price on the wholesale cost, then take into account any sales promotions we may run down the road. Panzer IV

Hi, We put it our for $25.99. Cant speak for other retailers. Costwise, its coming in at the top end of the 1:72 scale product range, akin to the recent Sherman tank with wading equipment. My guess is that the uparmored schurzen variants will likely retail for a couple of dollars more, unless Dragon...

Panzer IVs

Hi, I think if past performance is any indicator, you'll likely see eight Pz IVs off the bat without schurzen: four long barrel Ausf. G and four short barrel F1s. After these have run their course, you'll likely see an equal number of Ausf H and Js with and without schurzen and turret girdles. Then,...

Hello, LOL. Be careful what you wish for. I'm sure there will be dozens to choose from when its all said and done. Personally, I'm jazzed by the decision to move forward with the PZ IV. Panzer IV

Yup, looks really good. Makes you wonder why it took them so long to come out with the Panzer IV, over five years after they first started the series with the Tiger I. Bet we'll see a couple of dozen variants and paint schemes, all of which should look terrific. Then, of course, you have the AA vari...
